China is one of the largest tomato producers and consumers in the world.Tomato(Solanum lycopersicum L.)plays an important role in vegetable production in China.Continuous improvement,update and optimization of tomato varieties are the most economic and effective measures for the development and enhancement of tomato production.Through the regional test of tomato varieties,the new varieties from breeding institutions in china were collected to identify their adaptability,yield and economic value.And the comprehensive evaluation was carried out to screen out varieties suitable for planting in this region and accelerate the application of new breeding achievements,it was of great significance for promoting tomato production and increasing farmer's income.In this experiment,total of 43 tomato varieties(26 pink tomato varieties and 17 cherry tomato varieties)from the main breeding institutions in china were used as materials.Under the condition of spring cultivation in solar-greenhouse in Yangling area,we studied more than 30 traits about main phenological period,plant characteristics,fruit characteristics,fruit commercial characteristics,yield and disease resistance in field,and selected 7 indexes of the yield at early stage,total yield,weight per fruit,soluble solids contents,hardness,percentage of abnormal and crack fruit and disease index of Tomato leaf mode to comprehensive evaluate the tested varieties by using the standard deviation weight method and DTOPSIS method.The main results were as follows:1.Among 26 experimental pink tomato varieties,F01(1401),F02(Nongda 17)and F21(Xi Nong 206)had outstanding comprehensive performance and were suitable for spring cultivation in solar-greenhouse in Yangling area.F01(1401)showed early maturity,high yield,medium size fruit,good fruit shape and overall fruit appearance,high soluble solid contents(up to 4.9%)and high disease resistance;F02(Nongda 17)showed early maturity,high commercial fruit rate,high yield,high disease resistance,maximum fruit hardness(up to 3.21kg/cm2)and was suitable for storage and transportation;F21(Xi Nong 206)showed early maturity,large fruit size,high commercial fruit rate and good comprehensive performance.In addition,F20(T373)showed high resistance to the Tomato yellow leaf curl virus disease,and also showed resistance to Tomato leaf mode and Tomato late blight,which can be used as a disease-resistant variety.2.Among 17 experimental cherry tomato varieties,Y17(Xidayingfen No.1)showed outstanding performance,high resistance to diseases,high yield,strong plant growth,high fruit setting rate,extremely low percentage of abnormal and crack fruit,good fruit quality and taste,so it was more suitable for spring cultivation in solar-greenhouse in Yangling area.Secondly,Y02(Jingfanhongxing No.1),Y03(Hongxia)and Y07(Yingshahong No.4)were also suitable for spring cultivation in solar-greenhouse in Yangling area.In addition,Y15(HT13133)was limited growth type,and showed high diseases resistance,high hardness,which can be used as a disease-resistant or transport-tolerant variety.
