The effect of abnormal temperature on pests has become a global hot issue with the aggravation of global climate anomalies. The abnormal temperature has a great influence on Brown rice plant hopper (BPH) and its host. In order to resolve these problems, this study assumes that abnormal temperature will have a significant impact on the development and reproduction of BPH and the nutrients of rice planting. To test this hypothesis, this study regarded Brown rice plant hopper and its host as the object of this search from the perspective of abnormal temperature, focus on the content was following:l)The effect of abnormal temperature on physiological indexes, nutrients of different varieties and different growth period of rice.2) The effects of the development and reproduction of BPH after BPH feeding on abnormal temperature stress on rice.3) The effect of abnormal temperature on the development, reproduction and its metabolites of BPH. The analysis was carried out if abnormal temperature did have an impact on development and reproduction virulence, hibernation and migration of BPH population and comprehensive resistance level of rice planting. The main results were as follows:1.Abnormal temperature had an important effect on plant height, leaf width, moisture content, plant soluble sugar and soluble protein of rice plants; during the four leaf and jointing stage of rice plant, the leaf width of ASD7", "TN1", "Gui Yu 9"would be inhibited by high change temperature stress, but it would be promoted by high constant temperature and abnormal low temperature stress; the plant height of ASD7", "TN1", "Gui Yu 9" would be inhibited by abnormal temperature stress; the moisture content of ASD7", "TN1", "Gui Yu 9" would be lower by abnormal temperature stress; during four leaf and jointing stage of rice plant, the soluble sugar content of ASD7", "TN1", "Gui Yu 9" would be lower by high temperature stress. Soluble protein content would be lower too by high change temperature stress and its almost no effect on rice leaf soluble protein content by high temperature constant temperature. The soluble sugar content and soluble protein content of ASD7", "TN1" and "Gui Yu 9" would be rise by abnormal low temperature stress.2. The moisture content of BPH was lower than control under abnormal temperature stress; the lipid content of BPH was lower than control under high temperature stress and higher than control under abnormal low temperature; the glycogen contents of BPH would be decreased by high temperature stress and raised by abnormal low temperature; the protein content of BPH would be decreased by abnormal temperature stress. The food consumption of BPH would be raised by high temperature constant temperature stress and high temperature change temperature stress; the oviposition selectivity, fecundity and egg hatch abilities of BPH would be inhibited by abnormal temperature stress. The percentage of brachypterous of BPH would be lower by abnormal temperature stress; on the whole, after each nymphal instars were affected by abnormal low temperature stress, the developmental duration would be extended and the survival rate would be reduced and the eclosion rate would be raised。3. After each nymphal instars feeding on abnormal temperature stress on rice, the percentage of brachypterous of BPH would be decreased; after each nymphal instars feeding on low temperature stress on rice, the developmental duration and eclosion rate of BPH would be rised, after each nymphal instars feeding on high temperature stress on rice, the eclosion rate of BPH would be decreased.
