Seeding as an important part of agricultural production, which has a great impact on the Survival rate of seedlings, Seedlings tidy and Seedlings stout, seriously lead to reduced crop yield. Firstly, with the increasing promotion and application of the conservation tillage technology, the environment of Maize planting has been changed. There are differences between different sowing areas. It exposes more and more affect the yield and quality of operations problems, such as sowing instability spacing, planting depth and repression difficult to ensure the strength of the agricultural requirements and a lack of alarm systems. Secondly, since the implementation of the land transfer policy, the formation of a large number of domestic agricultural cooperatives, fragmented land has been integrated, so small machinery demand has been difficult to meet farmers’ current need to develop a series of large-scale machinery, especially the sowing machinery. However, it can cause a great loss for farmers once the sowing machinery can not ensure the quality of work. Finally, intelligent agriculture equipment and technology as an important support of the development of modern agriculture, how intelligent monitoring and control planter operation process is the most important issue of agricultural mechanization is the essential foundation for wisdom agriculture. Therefore, the production has a very important significance for the study of the precision planter monitoring system.Aiming at the current problems of the planter, use of modern electronic information technology and precision planter key technology research to establish the amount of seeding operations area monitoring statistics, seeding speed drive systems, video monitoring systems, casing repression as the main linkage and Control System corn planter precision intelligent monitoring system goals. In this paper, the following research contents:(1) Design and Research of intelligent control systems solutions determine the monitoring functions of the system and all related functions to achieve the display interface design;(2) Intelligent monitoring system hardware research and design, review of relevant literature and a large number of sensors and related hardware module works, advantages and disadvantages as well as insight into the application of occasions are determined on the basis of the selection of the control system hardware of each module and completed the design-related circuitry;(3) Intelligent monitoring system software research and design, using C language control system to program modular, including the main program, information collection routines, display programming routines and motor drive subroutine;(4) Integrated intelligent technology to improve the precision planter structure, complete intelligent monitoring systems and precision planter coordination and assembly;(5) Monitoring and control system testing and analysis, by the monitoring equipment installed on the test precision planter, and the related data processing and analysis, to improve deficiencies.Based on laboratory tests and field tests of the intelligent monitoring and control system, it shows the following conclusion. The system can complete the monitoring and control of seeding conditions, and has reached the national requirements. The system has the advantages of high integration, reliable operation, accurate measurement, easy maintenance and so on. It has effectively promoted the development of the intelligent level of maize precision seeding machine in our country.
