This paper mainly through to Tongchuan automobile city greening plants status investigation and study, put forward optimization and selection of plant species and for the development of Tongchuan town landscape and ecological environment improvement to provide scientific basis.Due to the arid and semi arid regions environmental conditions, climate characteristics, in road greening, trees, shrubs, grass, etc. to meet the drought, cold resistant features, and reasonable collocation of Joe, shrub and grass, the upper, middle and understorey plant community structure to configure. In arid, semi-arid area of tree species selection, not only to suitable for the local natural environment, but also has a rich landscape, role in improving the ecological environment, increase the ornamental and practicality of urban greening.There were 24 kinds of Ordos Tongchuan town urban road greening tree species, including evergreen tree species in five,11 species of deciduous broad-leaved tree species,8 species of shrub species, at the same time, and clover, Elymus dahuricus, alfalfa and other herbaceous plants.
