Urban park is a measure of the people’s living standard level of an important indicator, bringing great ecological, economical, and social benefit, playing an indispensable role in ecosystem sustainability. The recreational functions of urban park typically receive increasing concern as citizens’living standards increase. GIS based accessibility can acquire information of spatial distribution and service status of urban public service facilities effectively, and is gradually applied to study urban park spatial distribution. There are various method used to calculate accessibility, such as simple buffering, cost weighted distance, minimum distance, gravity model and network analysis.Network analysis, based on maximum service distance of urban park, can simulate service area of urban park and calculate urban park accessibility more realistically by measuring the distance of actual route followed by leisure users. But few previous studies consider the difference of park’s attractiveness which impact on the calculation results of accessibility, and the difference of park’s attractiveness can be reflected on the some parameters, like different type of parks has different service radius.The study is based on the GIS network analysis, take Changsha city as an example, assess the different level park radius’space accessibility and service conditions based on Changsha population distribution and the road network in Changsha city center. The followings are the paper’s conclusions:(1)Changsha urban parks are unevenly distributed in space. Changsha urban park service area is 222.16 km2,31.05% study area is covered by park service area. Changsha urban park service area service blind area is mainly in the northeast and northwest part.(2)Changsha urban park service population is 1.67million,52.8% population is covered by park service area. It shows that accessibility of Changsha urban green space is not as ideal as expected.(3)Tianxin district and Kaifu district have the highest park accessibility, Furong district and Yuelu district come second, Yuhua district and Xingsha district’s park accessibility are below the average level, Wangcheng district has the lowest park accessibility.(4)Urban park in study area are inadequate and maldistribution, the accessibility under different radius are significant different. Tianxin district’s urban park has highest accessibility in 500 m service radius, Furong district’s urban park has highest accessibility in 1000 m service radius, Xingsha district’s urban park has highest accessibility in 1500 m service radius, Kaifu district’s urban park has highest accessibility in 3000 m service radius.
