Fertilization can not only improve soil fertility, but also is an important measure to raising crop yield per unit area. For a long time,crop fertilization is still given priority to with artificial in China, that has low operating efficiency,high labor intensity, high production cost, poor uniformity, low fertilizer utilization rate. So it is very urgent to resea--ch and development a high-efficiency fertilization machine. Therefore, the development of this single spiral granular fertilizer applicator has practical significance. This fertilization machine can be equipped with the rotary cultivator to achieve simultaneous operation about tillage and fertilization,so the machine have wide application prospect. The main research works are as follows:1) In this paper, according to the characteristics of granular fertilizer to design the overall program and with the neckband rotary cultivator for fertilizing. Creatively put forward the structure of spiral cycle to conveying and spreading.2) According to the principle of the spiral circulation, and it’s referenced structure of screw conveyor to design the structure of the complete machine. The transmission layout and the local structure design are around cycle of four spiral roller shaft.To carry out detailed theoretical calculation of the key parameters and the driving power of the seeding mechanism is provide certain reference for subsequent fabrication and selection.3) Fertilizer application performance for single spiral granular fertilizer applicator is carried out experimental study. Through orthogonal experiment and quadratic regression rotation combination experiment, the optimum combination of the each influence factor and primary and secondary sequence of the each factor had been confirmed. The experimental results show that the rotate speed of screw, discharge hole size, material particle diameter of fertilizing machine seeding performance have certain influence.4) Carrying out comprehensive performance testing to the particle fertilizer machine,and getting the fertilization performance’s influence trend on each factor, it summarizes the fertilizer requirements for different operating conditions.Which is verified the practicability of the particle fertilizer machine under the synthetic conditions.
