| China is rich in overall water resources yet poor in terms of per capita share, which is barely 1/4 of that of world level. China is a big agricultural nation with agricultural water consumption accounting for 60% of its overall water consumption. Among this, consumption by irrigation accounts for a staggering 90%. Therefore, how to utilize water resources efficiently in irrigation of farmland becomes a major water saving measure. Currently there are three kinds of irrigation methods, namely the canal irrigation, the sprinkler irrigation and the drip irrigation. Traditional canal irrigation leads to huge waste of water resources due to low utilization rate. Sprinkler irrigation and drip irrigation, on the other hand, have faced a good opportunity of development thanks to the widespread use of greenhouses. The fertigation smart irrigation system currently used in China is quite advanced with precision irrigation. Countries like Finland attach great importance to precision irrigation where over 90% of the farmland is irrigated through this method while less than 10% of the farmland in China is irrigated in such a method. This also means we have great prospects in this aspect.China has invested a lot in the fertigation technology. Still, equipments show signs of instability in absorbing fertilizers. In view of this condition, this project compares domestic existing irrigation equipments on the basis of micro sprinkler irrigation development, and makes a detailed analysis of the mechanism and working flow of the fertigation equipment. This thesis then analyzes the unstable fertilizer utilization in irrigation and comes to the conclusion of factors affecting the fertigation. This thesis first established the three-dimensional entity model of venturi tube by using Creo, and then proceeded with flow field numerical analysis through CFX in Ansys Workbench. The focus of this thesis is to establish an effective reference model through comparing the flow of fertilizers in the entrance of absorption chamber with the effect of iteration. The intended outcome of this project is to produce a sound irrigation effect in different types of farmland in irrigation. |
