With the development of society and the improvement of people’s living standards, the urbanization construction is developing rapidly, in twenty-first Century, water resources will become a scarce resource. Although the total amount of water in our country is relatively more, but the per capita share is less, with the serious pollution of water resources and water shortage, the problem of water shortage is becoming more and more serious, seriously restrict the development of the country and the improvement of the national economy, traditional irrigation technology has been unable to meet the needs of modern irrigation methods.Based on these reasons, the Ningxia University and the Western e-commerce Co., Ltd. cooperation "Ningxia dryland water-saving agriculture science and technology garden agricultural information construction project" as the background, the research and design of the intelligent control system of water saving irrigation in the field was carried out.The irrigation system designed in this paper is based on the irrigation technology, which adopts the technology of computer network, frequency conversion and speed regulation, information collection, wireless communication and so on. The host computer and the man-machine interface of the system are designed by Java programming language, the interface is simple and clear, operator can achieve real-time remote monitoring, operation, query and other functions on the man-machine interface. The field hardware has frequency converter, TG3000 constant pressure water supply controller, temperature and humidity sensor, pressure sensor, water pump unit, solenoid valve, flow meter, etc. The upper and lower computer, using RS-485, ZigBee, Ethernet communication with each other.The system adopts frequency control constant pressure water supply technology to adjust the irrigation rate, so as to achieve the purpose of constant pressure irrigation.The soil temperature and humidity real-time moisture as the basis for irrigation, not only achieved the timely and appropriate reasonable irrigation and irrigation water use rate increased, the water resources waste of energy reduction objective and degree of automation had also been greatly improve, this is the inevitable trend of irrigation system in the future.
