Survey And Research Onlandscape Plant In Changsha Province

Landscape plants, as is one of the indispensable element in the urban afforestation, ca n not only providing a pleasing sight but also regulating climate, refreshing air, lowering n oise level and construction enjoyable living environment. Environmental concerns have be come a focus of attention with the accelerating urbanization process. As the capital city of Hunan province, Chang sha is facing a new challenge and a great opportunity to improve a nd build a new city image. Herein, we surveyed on the currently status of changsha’s botan ical garden afforestation, and proposed some practical means to solve the issues as such the lack of diverse plant species and the relatively slow development situation, which can serv e as a reference for constructing ecological graden afforestation for unban landscape planni ng as well.In this paper, the Analytic Hierarchy Process Method was used to systematically analyze ChangSha city’s botanical garden afforestation status through field investigation, and local floristic geography,plant community and ornamental plant landscape application?) have been comprehensively evalutated. The results was shown below:(1) Department of Garden Plants districts:Changsha, a total of garden plants 134 families,372 genera and 975 kinds, there are 376 kinds of trees, shrubs,225 species of lianas,47 species,229 kinds of herbaceous plants,98 aquatic plants species. Containing more than 20 kinds of large families have seven, containing 10-19 species of large families have 11, eight large families, accounting for only 13.4% of the total number of families Changsha garden plants, but they include a 155 genera 412 species.(2) Comprehensive evaluation of landscape plants:Changsha’s botanical garden afforestation was evaluated from Ornamental, adaptability, growing, and ecosystem these four espects. the Koelreuteria bipinnata shown the highest index.(3) Though the investigation of Changsha plant communities, we analyzed major issues including:garden plants through research for application deficiencies give advice to rich garden plant species, reasonably Configuring garden plants, garden maintenance strengthen management is important.(4) Based on the investigation of Changsha garden plants application, we systematically evaluated the issues involving:Application of fewer species, plant configuration is not reasonable, native tree species used fewer species, the choice of garden plant, we proposed several solutions for the better construction of city landscape in a rationalized, standardized, scientific and characteristic way, which will serves as a reference for Changsha’s city landscape seeding production and species selection...
