Effect Of Fermented Soybean Meal On Growth Performance,Nutrient Digestibility And Blood-associated Parameters In Sucking Calf

The study conducted as a 2(Fermented soybean meal, soybean meal) ×2(drinking 6L daily,drinking 4L milk daily) multifactor experimental design. To comparative research the effect of replacing soybean meal with solid fermented soybean meal as the protein source in the diet on growth performance, health condition, nutrients digestibility and blood related indicators from 1-45 days for veal production, for the purpose of supplying some scientific basis on the fermented soybean being rational utilized in the diet of calves.This experiment selected total twenty newborn Holstein calves with(45.7±5.5kg) were randomly allotted to four dietary treatments groups for 45 days, every treatment group has five calves. Four experimental treatment groups: High milk soybean group(fed 6L milk daily, Soybean meal);Low milk soybean group(fed 4L milk daily, Soybean meal);High milk soybean group(fed 6L milk daily, Fermented Soybean meal);Low milk soybean group(fed 4L milk daily, Fermented Soybean meal).Calves of body weight, body height,chest girth,body length was measured and venous blood was collected three times at1 d,20d and 45 d. Drinking milk and diet was recorded and diarrhea rat was observed every day, digestion experiment was conducted by Exogenous indicator method at 23-30 d.The results showed that drinking more milk of calves can improve production performance, nutrient digestibility and healthy compare with drinking less milk of calves. Fermented soybean meal improved respectively the average daily gain and feed efficiency at the early of experiment period(1-20d)(20.51%,P<0.05;11.56%,P<0.05),the late of experiment period(21-45d)(23.64%,P<0.05;15.18%,P<0.05), and the whole of experiment period(1-45d)(28.00%,P<0.05;17.30%,P<0.05).The fermented soybean meal improved respectively in calf of body height, chest girth and body length at the late of experiment period(21-45d).The fermented soybean in the diet crude protein digestibility and crude fat digestibility have significant increase(11.52%,P<0.05;6.11%,P<0.05). Feeding fermented soybean of calves can increase the total protein(TP)and decrease the serum urea nitrogen(UREA) at 20d(P=0.310,P<0.05),it is increase the total protein(TP)and the albumin protein(ALB) and decrease the serum urea nitrogen(UREA)(P=0.235, P=0.228, P<0.05).Fermented soybean has significant effect in increase Ig G compared with soybean meal at 45d(P=0.331), Ig E has significance decrease on the trend at 20 d and 45d(P=0.356,P=0.126).Calves of fences was observed in the whole experiment period showed that diarrhea score has significant decrease in more milk and less milk feeding condition. Fermented soybean have significant increase in average daily intake in drinking more milk daily after 37 d.Because between drinking milk and variety diet interaction effect in average daily gain at the early of experiment period, drinking 6L milk can improve average daily gain(P=0.229). At the lately of experiment period, interaction of between drinking milk and variety diet effect in average daily gain and feeding efficiency,drinking 4Lmilk can improve average daily gain and feeding efficiency(P=0.071;P<0.05). interaction of between drinking milk and variety diet effect in crude protein digestibility and crude fat digestibility, drinking 4L milk can improve crude protein digestibility and crude fat digestibility(P=0.067;P<0.05).Those date indicate that fermented soybean meal in calve diet had significantly improved growth performance, improved average daily gain and feed efficiency,improved crude protein and crude fat digestibility, and decrease the serum urea nitrogen(UREA) to improve protein utilization in the more milk and the less milk of feeding condition. Fermented soybean has significantly reduced the allergic reaction and decrease diarrhea score by decreasing the serum immunoglobulin E(Ig E). Between drinking milk and variety diet has significance interaction, fermented soybean can significant improve average daily gain,feed efficiency and nutrient digestibility in the drinking less milk.
