Objective: In order to clarify the effect of wheat powdery mildew occurrence regularity under walnut-wheat intercropping, jujube-wheat intercropping and wheat monoculture pattern Meantimes, for screen resistant wheat varieties(lines) to wheat powdery mildew, guide to control wheat powdery mildew through layout and rotation of wheat cultivars.Methods: The regular fixed-point investigation method was employed to gain a clear idea of the occurrence regularity of wheat powdery mildew under walnut-wheat intercropping and jujube-wheat intercropping planting patterns. The resistance of different wheat cultivars(lines) were identificated by leaf fragment method in vitro, seedling inoculation and adult plants inoculation.Results: 1. Occurrence regularity of wheat powdery mildew under walnut-wheat intercropping, jujube-wheat intercropping, and wheat monoculture planting patterns were similar. And the disease index of the disease under walnut-wheat intercropping, jujube-wheat intercropping was significantly higher than wheat monoculture. 2. Among the tested wheat cultivars(lines), Xinzi1 and Xinmai23 showed high resistant, 14/8329 displayed medium resistant, 11/6106、12/N6127, 11/2117 and A12-9 demonstrated medium susceptible to wheat powdery mildew. 3. The results of adult plants resistance identification showed the number of resistance wheat cultivars(lines) was 244(84.72%), 44(15.28%)cultivars(lines) showed susceptible to wheat powdery mildew.Conclusions: 1. Walnut-wheat and jujube-wheat intercropping planting patterns contribute to the occurrence of powdery mildew. 2.From seedling resistance identification results, only Xinzi1 and Xinmai23 was resistance to the disease. This suggests the wheat cultivars planted in Xinjiang are susceptible to wheat powdery mildew, it is beneficial to disease epidemics.
