Using tween 80 and ginseng saponins as materials, this experiment was conducted to study the effects of the suitable nutrition addictives that were selected by rumen fermentation on performance, nitrogen metabolism, energy metabolism, methane emission and carbon dioxide emission of sheep with in vitro, digestion and gas metabolic test.Part 1 The study aims to select the suitable amount of nutrition additives-tween 80 and ginseng saponins which can promote rumen microbial fermentation and reduce CH4, CO2 emission by “6- channel Gas Detection System for Rumen Fluid Fermentation”.After the test,we choose the nutrition additives and amount including mixture 1( 10 mg tween 80,2mg ginseng saponin) and mixture 2(15 mg tween 80,2mg ginseng saponin). The results of showed that there was no significant difference between separate add tween 80 and ginseng saponins to rumen fermentation, methane emission and carbon dioxide emission, but tween 80 can reduce CO2 by 2.38%,ginseng saponins;same amount of Tween 80 conditions can reduce CH4 by 16.82%.Adding 1mg and 2mg ginseng saponins to the significantly improve propionic acid content and reduce the ratio of acetic acid and propionic acid. The mixture 1and the mixture 2 reduce the emissions of CH4 by 4.06% and 6.28%, reduce the acetic acid content by 4.86% and 8.31%, increase the propanoic acid by 13.57% and 29.78%.The mixture 2 reduce the emissions of CO2 by 11.14%.Part 2 The objective of this study was to observe the effects of the combination of nutrition additives on performace, digestion metabolism, methane emission, carbon dioxide emission and energy metabolism of sheep.Twenty-four healthy sheep as F1 hybridized with Northeastfine-wool sheep and South African Mutton Merino were selected and divided into three groups randomly, each group with 8 sheep. The dose additive of addition followed the results of in vitro fermentation experiment. They were fed restriction diets and separately the control group with the basic diet(1.5kg/d)added no nutrition additives;group with the basic diet(1.5kg/d) added the combination of tween 80(7.5g/d) and ginseng saponins(1.5g/d);mixture group 2 with the basic diet(1.5kg/d)added the combination of tween 80(11.25g/d) and ginseng saponins(1.5g/d). The experimental 10 d pre-feeding period and 45 d positive trial period, divided into 3 perieds with 15 d in each. The results showed that:(1)Compared with the control group, the experimental group had no significant effects on average daily gain(P>0.05).(2)Total nitrogen uilization increasing by 22.73%, nitrogen digestibility and deposition in mixture group 2 in second period were significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)Methane energy with mixture group 1 in 1st and 2nd period was significantly reduced by 18.57% and 30.23% respectively(4)Compared with the control group, the emission of methane with the experimental group in 1st and 2nd period was significantly lower, the emission of carbon dioxide with mixture group 2 in 2nd and 3rd period was significantly lower too.
