Pharmacodynamics Study Of Dasuanxiaohuang Pasta In Treating On Partial Intestinal Obstruction Rats

Intestinal obstruction is one of the acute abdomen that causing serious damages forpatients in surgery. It could lead to local damage of digestive tract, general physiologicaldisorders, even infection，sepsis, shock，MOF and death. Paste traditional Chinese medicine onacupuncture point that is a method of traditional Chinese medicine externaltreatment.Da-Suan-Xiao-Huang-Pasta from《Zhong Yi Tian Jiu Liao Fa》，composited withGarlic, Sodium Sulfate and Radix et Rhizoma Rhei,which used vinegar and made into fat，then applied Sheng Jiu Xuan to treatment intestinal obstruction.That has a lot of advantages,like early intervention and reduce complications, shorten the duration of symptoms,but thathas not be reported.We discussesed the mechanism and provided the basis for clinicalapplication through applied Da-Suan-Xiao-Huang-Pasta on rats’ meridians which wasincomplete intestinal obstruction.Objective：To investigate the possible mechanism of Dasuanxiaohuang Pasta（DP）acupointapplication to treat partial intestinal obstruction rats.Methods：Partial intestinal obstruction rats model was built by penetrating transfixion terminalileum，to observe small intestine histomorphology、haemorheology、the content of NO、MDA、SOD within blood plasma and small intestine after72hours.Result：Model ratsin low spirits，body weight is obvisouly lower，the damage grade of smallintestinal mucosa was increased，whole blood viscosity at low shear ratea，whole bloodviscosity at high shear rate，plasma viscosity and red cell aggregation were obviouslyincreased，the content of NO、MDA within blood plasma and small intestine were increased，but the content of SOD was decreased；both the test group and the positive control group canimprove general status of rats in different degree，decrease the damage grade of smallintestinal mucosa and lower the low shear ratea、high shear rate、plasma viscosity and red cell aggregation，the level of NO and MDA were decrease，SOD was increase.Conclusion：DP can protection the integrality of small intestine structure，improve haemorheology，have intestinal barrier function，these functions may be relevant to DP improve bloodcirculation of intestinal、remove free radical、lighten the epithelium damage of free radical onintestinal mucosal，and maintain the internal environment.
