| ã€Objective】Through detecting HCG expression in serum and tissues of patients, whohave already been diagnosed bladder transitional cell carcinoma, to diagnose andevaluate prognosis related with theβ-HCG expression.ã€Methods】From September of2011to October of2012collect50cases who werediagnosed as bladder transitional cell carcinoma in department of Urology inAffiliated Hospital of Qinghai University. During the period Select20healthy peopleas negative control. All patients and healthy people did not be treated withradiotherapy or chemotherapy. By enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay andimmunohistochemical SP method to detectβ-HCG expression in the serum andtissues of50patients and20health people.ã€Result】The mean ofβ-HCG in serum of50patients is15.1±6.2miu/ml. In healthpeople it is4.4±1.9miu/ml. The expression ofβ-HCG in patients is significantlyhigher than health people(p<0.01). The expression of β-HCG is unrelated with ageand gender of patients with bladder transitional cell carcinoma (p=0.671,p=0.558),but it is correlated with pathological grading and clinical staging of bladdertransitional cell carcinoma ((p=0.005,p<0.01)). The positive expression rate ofβ-HCG in tissues of patients and health people are68%and10%respectively(p<0.01). The positive expression rate ofβ-HCG in tissues is unrelated with age andgender of patients with bladder transitional cell carcinoma (p=0.680, p=0.938), but itis correlated with pathological grading and clinical staging of bladder transitional cellcarcinoma (p=0.012,p=0.015).ã€Conclusion】-HCG are both expressed in cancer tissue and serum of patients withbladder transitional cell carcinoma.β-HCG expression is significantly higher inpatient than in health people. The expression of β-HCG in serum of patients iscorrelated with in cancer tissues of patients with bladder transitional cell carcinoma. The result pointed out thatβ-HCG may participate in the whole process of occurrenceand development of bladder cancer. Measuring the expression ofβ-HCG in patients’serum and tissues can help to determine the character of tumor and benefit to evaluatethe prognosis of patient with bladder transitional cell carcinoma. |
