Clinical Research Of Internal Fixation Treatment For Tibial Plateau Fracture

ObjectiveThe treatment of tibial plateau fractures is difficult, with many complications,prognosis not certain, high disability rate, and it is one of the most challengingorthopaedic problems. This study aims to through the analysis of the clinical efficacy ofthe internal fixation for tibial plateau fractures, provide reference for clinical doctors.MethodsThe clinical data of seventy-two patients of tibial plateau fractures in the departmentof orthopedics of Xijing hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University from January2009to January2013were retrospectively analyzed. There were55cases male and18cases female aging from21to61.37operations were at left knees.33were at right knees.2were at both knees.71were at one knee.2were at both knees. The73fractures wereclassified according to Schatzker classification. There were3cases in Schatzker type Ⅰ,31inⅡ,8in Ⅲ,7in Ⅳ,9in Ⅴ,17in Ⅵ.Preoperative clinical and imaging examinationare to give a comprehensive assessment of patients. Pre-operative positive control withunderlying diseases, Full assessment of the fracture and soft tissue damage in preoperative, to determine the timing of surgery, to give the appropriate surgicaltreatment. Guide patients to do postoperative rehabilitation training, do scientificpostoperative functional exercise. All the patients were followed up for6months.Application Rasmussen knee score table sports injury score.Resultsall the73cases were cases were followed-up. After8months to3years of follow-up,with an average23months, Application Rasmussen knee score table sports injury score.the function of the injured knees showed excellent in56cases, good in12cases, and fairin7case. The excellent and good rate was90.7%.ConclusionsInternal fixation treatment is the best treatment of tibial plateau fractures. In order toget the optimal therapeutic efficacy, To fully assess the pre-operative fracture andcombined injuries, actively deal with soft tissue injuries, choose a right way of operationand fixed. Scientific postoperative functional exercise is particularly important on therestoration of joint function and prevention of complications.
