Objective:Detection plateau Rabbit (altitude adaptation of species) cerebralcortex, the expression of voltage-gated potassium channel KV7.2、KV7.3,research plateau native animals neuronal excitability associated protein andgene expression, to further explore brain injury mechanism and high altitudeadaptation mechanisms of hypoxic brain damage. Methods: Experimental Group: plateau pika6(Weight:201.483±12.754g);Control group: six male SD rats (body weight:202.103±12.754g). The ratswere decapitated cerebral cortex tissue taken,-80℃cryopreservation.Fluorescence quantitative PCR and west-blotting assay plateau pika cerebralcortex, to hippocampus KCNQ2、KCNQ3gene expression and channelprotein content. Conclusions: Plateau pika brain cortex tissue KV7.2, KV7.3channel proteinand gene expression was significantly higher than normal SD rats; KV7.2,KV7.3may adapt to the plateau pika altitude hypoxia environment, reduceneuronal excitability and brain tissue oxygen consumption, to maintain astable environment within the brain neurons may be under hypoxic conditionsprotection mechanisms.
