| Objective: To study the expressions of DDC(dopa decarboxylase) in gastric carcinomatissue, pericarcinoma tissue and normal tissue by immunohistochemical technique, discussthe relationship between the DDC levels and the clinical characters of gastric cancer, andfurther investigates their coordinated effects in origin development, metastatic and theclinical biological behaviors in gastric cancer.Methods: This study collected from the Department of General surgery and Surgicaloncology of Qinghai Province People’s Hospital implementation of radical resection ofgastric cancer and the postoperative biopsy were confirmed by gastric cancer specimensfrom66patients in May2012to October2013, all patients, who were’t receivedpreoperative chemotherapy and radiotherapy before the surgery, each patient was taken ingastric cancer tissue, cancer adjacent junctional tissue and adjacent normal gastric tissue.The histological type, TNM staging criteria is following to the standards of2010Union forInternational Cancer Control/American Joint Committee on Cancer(UICC/AJCC), I+â…¡ of36cases,Ⅲ+â…£ of30cases. histological types:12cases of well-differentiated,moderately differentiated25cases, poorly differentiated in29cases. This study usedimmunohistochemical method to detect the expressions of DDC in tissue of gastric cancerand pericarcinoma tissue and normal tissue. The relationship between the expressions ofDDC and the clinical biological behaviors of gastric gancer were analyzed, including factorsuch as sex, age, tumor location, size, differentiation degree, and TNM stage. In addition,their coordinated effects in occurrence, development and transfer of gastric cancer will befurther discussing. Statistical methods: statistical analysis was carried out by SPSS19.0software, the measurement data using (x±s), the independent sample t test were used incomparison among the two group, single factor analysis of variance were used incomparison among groups, the SNK-q test were used in comparison among each other,Count data using the X2test or Fisher exact probability method, the level of significance wasalpha=0.05.Results:â‘ The expression rate of DDC in gastric cancer tissue (87.9%), which ishigher than the expression rate in pericarcinoma tissue (42.4%), highest than that in thenormal gastric tissue (18.2%) significantly, three there were significant differences betweeneach other (P<0.05).â‘¡The expression levels of DDC in gastric cancer tissues show no difference in sex, age, tumor size and location (P>0.05)â‘¢According to the histologicaltype test specimens were divided into well differentiated group, moderately differentiatedgroup and poorly differentiated group, which DDC score is7.83±1.46,7.96±1.96and10.48±2.23, poorly differentiated group and well, moderately differentiated group arestatistically significant(P<0.05). There were no significant differences between the welldifferentiated group and moderately differentiated group(P>0.05). According to TNMstaging test specimens were divided into the group ofâ… -â…¡ andâ…¢-â…£, which DDC score is7.94±1.95and10.36±2.14, the difference was statistically significant(t值=ï¼4.799,P<0.05).Conclutions:â‘ The high expression of DDC in gastric cancer tissue, low expressionin cancer tissues and normal tissues;â‘¡The expression of DDC in gastric carcinoma tissuesmay be plays an important role in processe of invasion and metastasis in gastric cancer;â‘¢Expression of DDC in gastric carcinoma, is expected to provide an ideal marker andtherapeutic target for early diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer invasion andmetastasis. |
