Background and objective:Malignant tumour of the incidence of lung cancer is now the world’s first, About1/5as small cell lung cancer, Its characteristics are:multiply rapidly, short-term survival, early metastasis rate, Found that only about1/3confined to the chest.Chemotherapy for small cell lung cancer is sensitive,The initial treatment of high efficiency, extremely easy to relapse,Recent clinical studies to prove the patient’s age, sex, stage, complications, and metastasis are prognostic factors. The chemoradiation and surgery can improve survival in patients with small cell lung cancer. In this paper, through comparative analysis of survival under different conditions and treatments of patients to improve the success rate of treatment of small cell lung cancer.Method:By the use of SPSS19.0software for Statistical analysis, Kaplan-Meier Method for calculating survival rate,Log-rank non parametric test, COX proportional hazard model from multivariate regression analysis, Comparative analysis of the survival difference between172cases of small cell lung cancer and to identify prognostic factors.Results:172patients had a better visit data, the median survival time was12months, a year, two years, three years, survival rates were44.1%,19.5%and5.8%. Univariate analysis found that "stage, whether hyponatremia, the adequacy of the number of cycles of chemotherapy, whether second-line chemotherapy, and whether to proceed with combined radiation and chemotherapy, whether surgery, whether prophylactic cranial irradiation" associated with the prognosis of patients, and "age, gender, the number and location of distant metastasis" associated with surial in patients with no contact. The COX regression analysis showed that "Chemotherapy cycle≧4, second-line chemotherapy, surgery" as a protective factor, while "hyponatremia, The number of distant metastases" is a risk factor. Conclusion:With chemotherapy combined modality treatment of small cell lung cancer is still the basic model, enough to treat chemotherapy cycle is the fundamental need,"the combined radiation and chemotherapy" and "prophylactic cranial irradiation" need to be pay attention to the LD-SCLC, hyponatremia is worthy of attention in treatment of the complications. Compared with the general condition of the patient, the greater the impact on treatment options for patients prognosis.
