The Applications Of Botulinum Toxin Type A In The Frown Line Treatment And Hyaluronic Acid Injection Treatment

Objective:Looking for a relatively safe and effective treatment of cosmetic injection method formoderate to severe frown lines, treatment effectiveness and comments for using hyaluronicacid (HA) combined with botulinum toxin type A(Botox).Method:Comprehensive treatment for Patients with moderate to severe glabellar lines, startingwith HA injection, at deep in the skin and dermis beneath the glabellar lines, then proceedwith botulinum toxin type A injections, to provide more thorough and effective treatment forthe wrinkles. Photos are taken, before and after the treatment, respectively in three months,six months and nine months afterwards, to observe the effectiveness of the treatment. Thisvaluation will be done by both the physician and the patient together.Results:In the follow-up interview, the patients are showing good treatment effect, the staticwrinkles were instantly corrected, dynamic lines gradually were corrected after3days, highpatient satisfaction, increased elasticity and gloss in the originally wrinkled skin tissue area.Conclusion:For moderate to severe glabellar lines, HA treatment combined with botulinum toxintype A is a safe and effective treatment.The combination treatment has better result withprolonged effectiveness than using single methods alone, and no complication between thetwo compounds. It is found to be a safe and effective cosmetic injection treatment for moderate to severe frown lines. This method is a simple operational procedure, suitable to bepromoted.
