Objective:To report and analyze the clinical and Echocardiographic characters of Behcet’s Disease with valvular involvement.Method:Retrospectively analyze the admission record and follow-up data of the in-patients diagnosed as Behcet’s Disease with valvular involvement between2006and2012in a cardiovascular disease specialist hospital.Result:21patients were analyzed,17cases were male,4cases were female, mean age39.5years. The aortic regurgitation was shown in all21cases. The echocardiography has no marked manifestation. The arterial valve prolapse is common performance.5cases were taken non-operative treatment,16cases undergo surgery. The aortic valve replacement was performed22times, postoperative perivalvular regurgitation occurred in all. Under the aortic root replacement, one patient survived and required no reoperation.3patients had orthotopic heart transplantation, with normal cardiac function and no rejection. During the hospital stay, a patient died of the postoperative ventricular dysfunction, and a patient died of the rupture of arterial aneurysm. During the follow-up,10patients still have obvious perivalvular leakage. Conclusion:The cardiovascular involvement in Behcet’s Disease can be severe sometimes, the manifestation is lack of specificity. Cardiologists should be aware of the etiology of Behcet’s Disease for patients with non-rheumatic non-congenital valvular disease.
