ObjectivesTo observe the clinical efficacy, safety and recurrence rate of Wen Wei granule combined with Mosapride to treat functional dyspepsia (FD) due to spleen-stomach deficiency-cold.Methods:Divided120patients who met the diagnostic criteria randomly divided into3groups:traditional Chinese medicine group (group A), western medicine group (group B) and traditional Chinese and western medicine group (group C), N=40. Wen Wei granule, Mosapride and Wei granule combined with Mosapride were given to the patients in each group respectively, while the treatment duration was4weeks. To observe and record the improvement of the symptoms of all the patients, score for each symptom, observed and record the adverse reaction and evaluate the drug safety. Eight weeks of follow-up after the end the treatment and to observe the recurrence and adverse reactions in patients.Results:1.Comparison of the effective rate:After the treatment, the total effective rate of group A, B, C was63.33%,60.00%,90.00%respectively. The effective rate of group C was better than group A and B (P<0.05), while the difference between group A and B was not statistically significant (P>0.05).2. Comparison of the total symptom score:after treatment, the total symptom score of three groups had significantly improved (P<0.01). The improvement of group C was better than group A and B, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). While the difference between group A and B was not statistically significant (P>0.05). After treatment, the symptoms of abdominal fullness, abdominal pain, early satiety and belching were improved significantly in group C compared with group A and B (P<0.01or P<0.05)3. Comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions:during the treatment,2patients in group B had mild headache,2patients in group C had minor abdominal fullness. The symptoms disappeared after the medication end. The incidence of adverse reactions in three groups had no significant difference (P>0.05).4. Comparison of the recurrence rate:within8weeks of follow-up, the recurrence rate of group A was42.31%. B was52.00%and C was16.21%.The recurrence rate of group C was significant lower than group A and B, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Summary:1. The treatment of Wen Wei granule combined with Mosapride on FD achieved significant therapeutic effect. It could significant improve the various clinical symptoms of FD patients.2. Wen Wei granule combined with Mosapride to treat FD is of better security and has no significant side effects.3. Wen Wei granule combined with Mosapride can reduce the recurrence rate, and it worthy of further research and promotion.
