Objective:The colorectal cancer is one of the common malignant tumors of the digestive system and its incidence is gradually increased, Colorectal polyps, especially adenomatous polyps are precancerous lesions of colorectal cancer. It is key to treat colorectal cancer. by early detecting and removing colorectal polyps It was purpose to provide a scientific basis for the monitoring and preventing occurrance of colorectal polyps and reducing the incidence of colorectal cancer. by tnvestigating and analysising factors in patients with colorectal polyps.Patients and Method:Case Group:1345cases were examined by colonoscopy from January1,2012to December31,2013in Tianjin Dagang Oilfield General Hospital, aged20-69years old, divided into two groups:623patients with colorectal polyps722cases as the control group whom were found no colorectal polyps,by colonoscopy.Investigation:questionnaire were made in every cases that include:general situation (including name, gender, age, height, weight, occupation, residence, education level); medical history and family history; lifestyle and eating habits; intestinal endoscopy results. The results of the questionnaire were analysed by SPSS17.0statistical software.Results:1.GeneralThe proportion,of40-69-year-old was higher in Polyp group. Compared with the control group, a proportion of males,in polyp group significantly higher (P <0.01). and BMI higher, the difference was significantly higher (P<0.05).2.Past history and family historyThe ratio of the first-degree relatives wih colorectal polyps and past history of colorectal polyps in Polyp group.was significantly higher,(P<0.05). Patients with polyps combined with hyperlipidemia, fatty liver and gallbladder disease proportion was significantly higher (P<0.05).The ratio of diabetes, hypertension, cardiac coronary artery disease in the patients with polyps were no significantly difference from that in control group.(P>0.05).3.Lifestyle and eating habitsProportion of smoking and drinking habits in polyp group were significantly highet (P<0.05). Proportion of eating fat, eggs, milk, organ meats, seafood in polyp group were significantly higher than those in control group,(P<0.05), while Proportion of eating vegetables and fruits legumes and their products in polyp group significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference (P>0.05) in drinking and eating onions, garlic aspects between two groups.4.Colonoscopy resultsColorectal polyps were more common in the rectum, sigmoid colon.Adenomatous polyp was most common in pathological diagnosis and its proportion reached54%.Conclusions:1.The occurrence of colorectal polyps is increasing following the age,so that elderly patients should be closely followed up by colonoscopy. Men more easily suffer from the colorectal polyps. The patients with higher BMI and obesity were more likely to develop colon polyps.2.First-degree relatives with colorectal cancer or colorectal polyps or own history of colorectal polyps is a risk factor of colorectal polyps. Colorectal polyps correlated with hyperlipidemia, fatty liver and gallbladder disease but had no significant correlation with the diabetes, hypertension, coronary heart disease.3.Regular smoking, regular alcohol consumption is a risk factor for colorectal polyps. Diet of high fat, higher animal protein diet is a risk factor in the pathogenesis of colorectal polyps. Fruits and vegetables can reduce the incidence of colon polyps. Legumes and their products may also reduce the incidence of colorectal polyps.4.Colorectal polyps occur in the rectum, sigmoid colon followed, mostly multiple, and all types of pathology adenomatous polyps most common.
