Objective: To compare the roles of Gd-EOB-DTPA dynamiccontrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) and multi-detectorrow computed tomography (MDCT) in sensitivity, specificity and accuracy ofdetection in focal hepatic lesions. Methods:32cases of focal hepatic lesions inour hospital from MRI to MDCT were retrospectively analyzed, All patientswere divided into two groups: CT group and MRI group. Analysis the result ofeach group was used by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Result:A total of185focal hepatic lesions were identified. The sensitivity, specificityand the area under the ROC curve(AUC) that86.5%、90.9%、0.855in MRIgroup were significantly higher than that of CT group(63.6%、54.5%、0.532).The sensitivity, specificity and the area under the ROC curve(AUC) are90%、86.6%、0.886were also significantly higher than that of CT group(50.5%、45.5%、0.500) for detection of lesions (<1cm). We combined with pathological findings and follow-up confirmed that the diagnostic accuracy ofthe lesion was40.6%by Gd-EOB-DTPA DCE-MRI. Conclusion: There ishigher detection rate in Gd-EOB-DTPA DCE-MRI has a higher detection rate, accuracy, and certain diagnostic value for Focal liver lesions(<1cm)than thatof MDCT.
