Analysising The Prostate Cancers Clinical Characteristics And Prognostic Fators Of Different Age Groups

Objective: To explore the difference of clinicopathologicalcharacteristics and prognostic factors of new Pca(prostate cnacer) patientsin different age groups.Methods：All105patients diagnosed with Pca from January2006toMay2013were divided into young age group(＜60years,45patients) andold age group(≧60years,60patients).Then we explored the twogroupsdifference of Clinical symptoms、IPSS score、TPSA、clinical staging、Gleason score、the incidence of bone metastasis and treatment.Results:Young age group patients presented with dysuresiamostly,which were similar with old age group patients，but the IPSS scorehad significant difference. The value of PSA between young age group(median:97.77ng/mL)and old age group(median:47.32ng/mL) hadsignificant difference(P＜0.05). There was significant difference aboutGleason score tumor between the two groups, and the Highly malignanttumor was much more in young age group than old agegroup.TheⅠ-Ⅱ c linical stagingpatients of the two groups had17and32,without significant difference.The incidence of bone metastasis had significant difference between the two groups (26/45and22/60,P＜0.05).The number of being done radical prostatectomy in young age groupwas15and old age group was26; the rest of patients were gongingEndocrine therapy.Conclusions: The most young age group patients and old age grouppatients were diagnosed with Pca for dysuresia，but the IPSS score of oldage group patients was higher than young group patients. The highly TPSAconcentration、Higher Gleason Score and the incidence of bone metastasisare more common in young age group than old age group.There was nosignificant difference of clinical staging between the two groups.
