Effect Of Dan-Wei-Ning Granules On Gastric Ulcer Of Damp-Heat In Energizer And The Content Of EGF、PGE₂

Objective:To observe the clinical effect and possible mechanism of Dan-Wei-Ning granules combined with Omeprazole enteric-coated on Gastric Ulcer (GU) of Damp-Heat in Energizer and the content of serum epidermal growth factor(EGF、prostaglandin E2(PGE2) and clearance situation of helicobacter pylori (HP).Methods:60cases with GU of Damp-Heat in Energizer derived from Nantong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into two groups at random:the control group and treatment group.8weeks were set as a course of treatment. The treatment group(30cases) was treated with Dan-Wei-Ning granules and Omeprazole enteric-coated orally; And the control group was simply treated with Omeprazole. Patiences wih HP infection were added with standard triple therapy for a week:Omeprazol,clarithromycin and ornidazole. The content of EGF and PGE2in serum for all the cases were detected before and after treatment.After treatment, to evaluate the effect of healing of GU, improvement of clinical symptoms, HP eradication rate and the level of EGF and PGE2.Result:Both the treatment of the control group and treatment group can improve the healing of GU by gastroscope obviously, but the difference of the two groups was not obvious (P>0.05); The difference of HP eradication rate between two groups was not obvious, but HP eradication rate in the treatment group was higher than the control one. After the treatment, the improvement of TCM symptoms integral in the treatment group were superior to the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The two groups after treatment all can improve the content of EGF and PGE2, but the level of EGF and PGE2in the treatment group were more higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion:DWN is an effective TCM preparation for GU of Damp-Heat in Energizer. It may promote the healing of GU by increasing the level of protective factor such as EGF and PGE2in the serum to promote epithelial hyperplasia, improve gastric mucosal blood flow and strengthen the defense function of gastric mucosa.
