| Objective:To investigate the expressions and significance of heat shock protein70in colorectal adenoma and colorectal carcinoma.Methods:Immunohistochemical technique, SABC method, was used to examine the expression of HSP70in colorectal adenoma and colorectal carcinoma.Results:(1)The positive expression of HSP70in the three groups in gender, age,nationality had no statistics significance (P>0.05);(2)HSP70was detected in6.7%of colitis, in72.2%of colonic polyps, in87.1%of colonic adenocarcinoma; overexpression of HSP70was found in3.3%of colitis,in32.2%of colonic polyps, in77.4%of colonic adenocarcinoma. The rate of the positive expression of HSP70in these three groups showed a trend of increasing (P<0.05);(3)Overexpression of HSP70in nuclear was found in0%of colitis, in28.9%of colonic polyps, in71.0%of colonic adenocarcinoma; overexpression of HSP70in cytoplasm was found in3.3%of colitis, in3.3%of colonic polyps,in6.5%of colonic adenocarcinoma; the overexpression of HSP70in cytoplasm, nuclear in colonic polyps and colonic adenocarcinoma groups in itself had statistics significance (P<0.05); the overexpression of HSP70in cytoplasm,nuclear in colitis groups in itself had no statistics significance (P>0.05). Conclusion:The results that HSP70protein were selectively overexpressed in colorectal adenoma and colorectal carcinoma suggested that HSP70might play a specific role in the pathogenesis of colorectal carcinoma. To clarify the mechanism of HSP70action could help to provide theorical basis for the biological therapy of colorectal carcinoma. |
