Study On The Evaluation Index System Of Key Clinical Specialty In Chengdu County Hospitals

County level Hospital is the health centre and leading of three ruralmedical and health service network,which connects big city hospitals andtownship hospitals,located in the central position that playing a decisiverole in the medical and health service system in our country.Speciatlysetting has been gradually complete with the development of society andeconomy, improvement of the medical insurance system, medical demand,the medical and health reform, the rapid development of the hospital,andthat the hospital continues to expand the scale.However,most of the currentlevel of medical technology is still backward, hospital medical serviceability is relatively low, the lack of high-quality technical talents, teachingand scientific research strength is very weak, which restricts the furtherdevelopment of county hospital. The root cause of these problems is thatthe hospitals do not pay attention to the Key Clinical Specialty construction,especially the clinical specialist focus on unsuitable evaluation indexsystem. Therefore, the urgent need is to build up a set of evaluation indexsystem with clinical work as the core and scientific research teaching forchoosing better basic conditions of key construction, so as to drive thedevelopment of relevant specialties, improve the county hospitals’ medicaltechnology level and service ability.This paper discusses the development of Key Clinical Specialty evaluation is important for promoting the county hospitals development,pointing out that Key Clinical Specialty assessment can help hospitalsunderstand the actual situation of the clinical specialist, facilitate theconstruction measures, increase construction quantity,improve constructionlevel and drive other specialties’ development, so as to upgrade the level ofmedical technology and enhance development of county hospital. Thispaper expounds the meaning and scope of specialist and key specialty andkey specialist assessment, comprises the Key Clinical Specialty and KeyMedical Discipline. Combined with the actual situation of Chengdu countyhospitals, it analyzes the present situation of Key Clinical Specialtyconstruction, finding out the existing problems, and putting forward somesuggestions for improvement, at last build up the evaluation index systemof Key Clinical Specialty in Chengdu County Hospitals from5dimensionswhich are college foundation, technical team, service ability, medicalquality and scientific research. Then16clinical departments of S hospitalwere evaluated by using the evaluation index system.According to theresults, evaluation index system of Key Clinical Specialty got revised andCountermeasures for the construction formulated.
