Research On The Factors Influencing The Communication Satisfaction In A General Hospital Of Chengdu

ObjectiveThis paper review previous research and combine with the actual situationof hospital,edited communication satisfaction scale based on Downsquestionnaire. This research survey communication satisfaction status ofhospital by this scale,while analyzing the demographic factors oncommunication satisfaction,in order to provide a theoretical refence to improvecommunication satisfaction of hospital.MethodsFirstly,this paper review previous research and combine with the actualsituation of hospital,edited communication satisfaction scale based on Downsquestionnaire.Totally400nurses for four hospitals in chengdu were investigateby new communication satisfaction scale. The application SPSS17.0toestablish the database for statistical analysis.To conduct the items analysis withratio method;Cronbach，s alpha coefficient was use to evaluate thereliability;the principal component factors analysis was used to.evaluate thevalidity.Describe the nurses communication satisfaction score withmean,standard deviation,minimum,maximum. Adopting One-Way Anova andIndependent-Sample Test to explore the influence factors of nursescommunication satisfaction.Results1Cronbach，s ɑcoefficient was0.892for the scale,the item subscale were 0.703~0.850.Seven factors were extracted by principal components analysisand contributed60.488%to the variance.The expression of28item in sevenfactors was good and factors loading values all were greater than0.4.Thetheoreticalstructure from this study go along with predecessors,studying results.2In this survey of nurse communication satisfaction,the mean was57.40±12.975at low level,the personal feedback was hightest in sevenfactors,media quality was the lowest.3There are significant differences in marriage,age,working year,contract andeducation.4There are no significant differences in sex.ConclusionsThe new communication satisfaction scale has high reliability andvalidity.The communication satisfaction of nurse was at a low level,there wasstill space to improve.Demographics factors such as marriage,age,workage,contract and education could influence nurse communication satisfaction.
