| Objective:Investigate the apoptosis-related genes PDCD5and TMEM166promoteCpG islands methylation in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissue of Uygur and Han in Xinjiang.To analyze the ethnic differences and the relationship between them and the clinicopathological characteristics.Methods:Use MSP to detect the methylation of PDCD5and TMEM166in40cases of esophageal squamous cell cancer tissues and their adjacent tissues(20cases of Uygur,20cases of Han).Results:The methylation rates of PDCD5and TMEM166were80.0%(32/40) and75.0%(30/40) in cancer tissues,which is significant higher than that in adjacent tissues(P<0.05);The methylation of PDCD5and TMEM166is related with clinical sta-ging of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(P<0.05);There is no significant difference in different ethnic,gender and age (P>0.05).Conclusion:The methylation level of PDCD5and TMEM166is higher in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissue than that is in the adjacent tissues;The methylation of PDCD5and TMEM166is related with clinical staging of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma;There is no significant difference in different ethnic,gender and age. |
