The Change And Significance Of Plasma B-type Natriuretic Peptide In Different Nationalities And Different Types Of Patients With Atrial Fibrillation

Objective:To determine whether B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP) is elevated in different nationalities,different types of patients with atrial fibrillation(AF) compared with patients without AF. A secondary study objective was to examine whether levels of BNP are associated with demographic and clinical variables.Method:74patients with atrial fibrillation, is divided into Han and uyghur group, and divided them into persistent atrial fibrillation group and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group according their duration, patients with atrial fibrillation are divided into female group and male group.Select the same period106cases of hospitalized patients in sinus rhythm, Han patients were42cases and uyghur patients were64cases. Collected patients general information, plasma B-type natriuretic peptide, left atrial diameter, left ventricular end-diastolic and left ventricular ejection fraction. Comparison of various types of atrial fibrillation in the Han and uyghur, men and women with atrial fibrillation, the case group and the control group changes in each index.Results:(1) Persistent atrial fibrillation and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients in uyghur group are statistically significant on changes of left atrial diameter and BNP.(2) Persistent atrial fibrillation and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients in Han group are not statistically significant on changes of the various indicators.(3) In the persistent atrial fibrillation group, Han and uyghur group of patients are statistically significant on changes of age and left atrial diameter. In the paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group, Han and uyghur group of patients are no statistically significant on changes of each various indicators.(4) Women and Men of patients with atrial fibrillation are no significant in the difference of other variants.(5) uyghur atrial fibrillation patients and the control group are statistically significant on the difference of BNP, left atrial diameter. Han atrial fibrillation patients and the control group are statistically significant in the difference of BNP, age, left atrial diameter, left ventricular ejection fraction.(6) Multiple linear regression analysis of influence factors of BNP show that:increase of age and left atrial diameter, reduced of LVEF is independent predictors of plasma BNP levels.conclusion:Atrial fibrillation is have a closer relationship with BNP, but the difference of BNP is not statistically significant in Han and uyghur atrial fibrillation, persistent and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, male and female patients with atrial fibrillation.Increase of age and left atrial diameter, reduced of LVEF is independent predictors of plasma BNP levels.
