Clinical Observation On The Treatment To The Chronic Duration Of Asthma With Xiaoqinglong Soup Adds And Subtracts

The observation is aiming at the evaluating the effect of using the Xiaoqinglong soup addsand subtracts to treat the patients with asthma in chronic duration, who are mainly with coldphlegm in lung.MethodsChoosing80patients who were conformed to the inclusion criteria. Then distribute theminto treatment group and control group by simple randomization. Treatment group had used theXiaoqinglong soup coordinating the conventional treatment，while the control group had onlyused conventional treatment. The course of treatment had lasted for2weeks. We had to observethe changes of the symptoms, physical signs, the results of pulmonary function tests, bloodroutine tests, liver function and renal function of the patients before and after the treatment. Afterthat, we need to take data statistics and analysis.Results1.After statistical analysis, the results of the curative effect of the disease: Treatment group:clinical remission (5patients), apparent effect (20patients), effective (12patients), invalid (2patients), the total effective rate reached94.87%; Controlling group: clinical remission (2patients), developing effect (3patients), effective (30patients), invalid (5patients). The totaleffective rate was87.50%. There is statistical difference between the treatment group and thecontrol group（P<0.01）.2. The results of the curative effect of the TCM symptoms: Treatment group: clinical control(1patient), apparent effect (35patients), effective (2patients), invalid (1patient), the totaleffective rate reached97.44%; Control group: clinical control (0patient), appearance (1patient),effective (31patients), invalid (7patients). Total effective rate was82.50%. There is statisticaldifference between the treatment group and the control group（P<0.01）.3. The improved conditions of the pulmonary function shows that after the therapy，therewas much more changes in the PEF of the treatment group. There is statistical differencebetween the two groups（P<0.01）.4. There was no obvious changes in results of the blood routine tests, liver function andrenal function of the patients in both groups. 5. There was no adverse reaction during the therapy.ConclusionsThrough syndrome differentiation and treatment of the TCM, it makes higher curative effectrates by using the Xiaoqinglong soup adds and subtracts to treat the patients in chronic durationof asthma, who are with cold phlegm in lung, than merely using western medicine. It shows nosignificant adverse reactions in the safety observation in both groups during the treatment.Therefore it’s safe to take this kind of therapy.
