Objective: To study the s extraction process of Salvia, and toachieve parameters optimization in extraction process; to prepare compound Salviasustained-release tablet with Salvia, Panax notoginseng extract, and Borneol clathrate, and further evaluate its drug release behavior in vitro. Method: By combining HPLCwith GC-MS and conducting a single factor experiment together with orthogonal testdesign, this paper, taking liposoluble constituent tanshinone IIAand water-solubleconstituent Salvianolic acid B as evaluation indexes, aims at achieving parametersoptimization in extraction process; By preparing compound Salvia sustained-releasetablet and experiment on release degree in vitro, it takes tanshinone IIA, Salvianolicacid B, Ginsenoside Rg1and Borneol in compound Salvia sustained-release tablet asevaluation indexes, for the purpose of evaluating its drug release behavior in vitro.Result: The parameters of optimum extraction process in s extraction process ofSalvia: Amount of solvent is A1; Extraction solvent is B3; Extraction time is C1;Extraction times is D3, extraction rate of tanshinone IIAis94.53%and Salvianolicacid B is80.54%. The release in vitro of tanshinone IIAin compound Salviasustained-release tablet accords with A stage model, with the equation of drug releasebeing ln(1-Mt/M∞)=-0.1754t+0.0302; The release in vitro of Salvianolic acid Baccords with Higuchi model, with the equation of drug release being Mt/M∞=0.3559t1/2-0.1550; The release in vitro of Ginsenoside Rg1accords with A stagemodel, with the equation of drug release being ln(1-Mt/M∞)=-0.2437t+0.0739; Therelease in vitro of Borneol accords with A stage model, with the equation of drug release being ln(1-Mt/M∞)=-0.1539t-0.0385. Conclusion: The s extraction process ofSalvia is highlighted by its outstanding characteristics of rapidness, low energyconsumption and high extraction rate. In this process, each index component incompound Salvia sustained-release tablet could be released properly, which lives upto the technical requirements of compound Salvia sustained-release tablet’sdevelopment. Both the s extraction process of Salvia and the preparation technique ofcompound Salvia sustained-release tablet’s development are apt to enterpriseproduction. They furthermore, could serve as materials of experimental research thatfacilitate new compound Salvia sustained-release tablet’s application.
