Objective To investigate the clinical application value of breast asymmetrydensity lesions between mammography and dynamic contrast-enhanced MRIwhich combined with DWI..Materials and methods According to the classification standard of breastBI_RADS version fourth found asymmetric density lesions in the X-rayphotography,Among them there were42cases of simple asymmetric densitylesion, was not associated with irregular mass, malignant calcification, structuraldistortions typical malignant features. Without any treatment do breast MRIdynamic contrast enhanced and diffusion weighted sequences (DWI) scanning.According to the classification standard of BI_RADS_X and BI_RADS_MRIseparately carries on the features analysis and classification by senior doctors, thepostoperative pathology or biopsy as the gold standard, Review analysis and werecompared the X-ray and MRI imaging sign.Result1there were24malignant and18benign asymmetric density lesions;2the quadrant position, lesion size and edge shape of asymmetric density were nostatistical significance between the malignant and benign lesions in X-rayphotography, X-ray photography have Discovery value for the malignant lesionswith asymmetric density,But its sensitivity is0%;3the distribution modifiers andinternal enhancement of asymmetric density were significant difference betweenthe malignant and benign lesions (P<0.05).the most frequent findings among themalignant lesions were clustered ring enhancement (55%) and segmental distribution (54.2%), whereas a tippled internal enhancement was the mostfrequent finding in benign lesions (50%).4the Edge shape of asymmetric densitywere significant difference between the malignant and benign lesions (P<0.05).The most frequent findings among the malignant lesions were Irregular or burrsign, whereas a Regular and irregular was the most frequent finding in benignlesions, its diagnostic sensitivity of92%, specificity of50%, accuracy is74%;5the TIC curve of asymmetric density were significant difference between themalignant and benign lesions (P<0.05), the most frequent findings among themalignant lesions were III curve, whereas a II curve was the most frequent findingin benign lesions. Its diagnostic sensitivity of92%, specificity of67%, accuracy is81%;6the one side upper limits of95%confidence interval of mean ADC,1.23×10-3mm2/s,was adopted as the point to separate malignant form benign whenb value was1000s/mm2。The sensitivity of83%, specificity of83%, accuracy is83%.Conclusion Traditional mammography had low sensitivity and limited valueto identify the benign and malignant of asymmetry density lesions. Dynamiccontrast-enhanced MRI and DWI had the clinical application value of qualitativeand differential diagnosis in breast asymmetry density lesions.
