Objective By peritumoral(PT) and subareolar (SA)injection of contrast agens sentinellymph node in breast cancer detection,to discuss the effectiveness of contrast-enhancedultrasound(CEUS) in breast cancer sentinel lymph nodes(SLN) of patients with two differentinjection sites. In order to find the best injection site of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)in breast cancer sentinel lymph nodes(SLN).Methods Seventy cases of breast cancer patients were treated with peritumoral(PT)and subareolar (SA)injection of contrast agents, the changes of CEUS of the ipsilateral axillarySLN were observed and the position and numbers of enhancement of the lymphnodes.Compared with methylene blue and surgicalbiopsy. Results According to the subcutaneous injected methylene blue method, theidentification rate of SLN was86.3%in PT injection and87%in SA injection。According tothe surgicalbiopsy method, the false negative rate was3.3%in PT injection and13.3%in SAinjection, the internal consistency of these two methods was good(Kappa value=0.687). Theidentification rate of SLN was90.6%and the false negative rate was0%by using PTinjection and SA injection in combination. Conclusions Both PT injection and SA injection are a good method for evaluateprediction for breast cancer sentinel Lymph nodes. Both methods combined injection ofultrasound contrast agents can improve the identification rate of sentinel lymph nodes ofbreast cancer and reduce the false negative rate.
