Objective To investigate the best injection site of CEUS in identification ofthe sentinel lymph nodes and clinicalapplicationvaluein breast cancer patients. Methods Ultrasound contrast agents were injected into60cases of breastcancer patients through percutaneous and parenchymal of the borderline in breastcancer, respectively. Then observe the results of contrast-enhanced axillary lymphnode whichcompared with the methylene blue staining and pathology.Results1.In the65cases of breast cancer patients,79SLNs were successfullydetected through percutaneous injection of ultrasound contrast agents in57patients, the detection rate was86.81%(79/91); By parenchymal injectionofagents,53enhanced lymph nodes were detected in39patients and its detection ratewas58.24%(53/91).The differences for SLNdetection by using injection of CEUSthrough percutaneous and parenchymal of the borderlinewas significantly in breastcancer(P<0.05).2.Through percutaneous injection of ultrasound contrast agents in57patients,the detection of accuracy, sensitivity and specificity were88.61%,94.92%and70.00%;By parenchymal injectionof agents, the detection of accuracy, sensitivityand specificity were86.79%,82.50%and100%, respectively. There were nostatistical differences for the SLN of diagnostic accuracy? sensitivityandspecificityafter injection of CEUS through percutaneous and parenchymal of the borderline in breast cancer (P>0.05).3.The arrival time and time to peak were all shorter in the percutaneousinjectioncompared with the parenchymal injection,There were significantdifferences for the arrival time and time to peak after injection of CEUS throughpercutaneous and parenchymal of the borderline in breast cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The percutaneous injection of ultrasound contrast agentscould optimized for detect and assess SLN.2. The percutaneous injection of ultrasound contrast agents which wasoperation simplification and faster to detection, therefore it possess high value inclinical application.
