In recent years, in forensic practice, the identification rate of ocular trauma is increasing, which has high incidence, damage consequence is serious, easy to cause the dispute and other characteristics, according to the statistical data, the identification of ocular trauma accounted for about identification of amount of about 10%-15%, although in recent years has been the rapid development of Department of Ophthalmology, various diagnosis methods and equipment emerge in an endless stream, but in the field of forensic identification of ocular trauma, there are still many problems to be solved, and the damage degree of vision identification of the subjective will of the control is strong, in practice, often identified people praise the damage degree of his own, in order to get more compensation, which adds to the identification of artificial disturbance work. This paper will be divided into ocular adnexal ocular trauma, injury, injury of refractive system visual pathway injury three types are elaborated, for every kind of ocular trauma in forensic identification to be demonstrated in detail, starting with the clinical manifestation, cause of injury, injury, and the relationship between the inspection method and the matters needing attention in several aspects, analyze different the type of eye injury in forensic medicine. In ocular trauma in forensic identification, visual function damage degree evaluation is the key and difficult problem, because it is directly related to the damage grade evaluation of ocular trauma. The subjective factors of the damage of visual function of traditional detection methods are influenced by the identification of the impact is bigger, and the visual electrophysiological examination method overcomes the shortcoming of the traditional method, in an objective, nondestructive way of visual function damage degree evaluation, and detection of ocular lesions positioning. Based on flash visual evoked potential(F-VEP), pattern visual evoked potential(P-VEP), pattern reversal visual evoked potential(PRVEP), electroretinogram(ERG) in the identification of the advantages and disadvantages of the application of eye injury in a comparative study, a more accurate determination of the extent of injury, and the use of visual evoked potential in the objective identification identification of whether the person is the pseudo blind, for ocular trauma in forensic provides accurate, objective basis.
