The Curative Effect Observation Of Wuzi Erxian Decoction In Treating Oligoasthenozoospermia Of Kidney-Deficiency Type

Objective:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of "Wuzi Erxian" decoction in treating male infertility with oligoasthenozoospermia of kidney-deficiency type. In order to certify that "Wuzi Erxian" decoction is good for the reproductive function of patients with oligoasthenozoospermia by improving the concentration and vitality of sperm. And we hope to provide clinical basis for the research of its mechanism of action in treating oligoasthenozoospermia.Method:Select the patients for male infertility with oligoasthenozoospermia of kidney-deficiency type from TCM Clinic and Andriatry outpatient service of the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi medical university in November 2013 to November 2014.80 cases were randomly divided into two groups:there were 40 cases in treatment group that taking "Wuzi Erxian" decoction,2 times a day,150ml each time; and there were 40 cases in control group that taking tamoxifen citrate tablets,2 times a day, 10mg each time. All patients were treated for 3 months. Compare the sperm concentration, A grade sperm percentage, A+B grade sperm percentage and spouse pregnancy rate index of two groups before and after treatment, then evaluate the clinical efficacy of "Wuzi Erxian" decoction.Result:A total of 77 patients completed this study, the treatment group fell off in 2 cases, control group fell off in 1 case. Treatment group can significantly improve sperm concentration, A grade sperm percentage and A+B grade sperm percentage (P<0.01), and the treatment group is superior to the control group (P <0.05).In treatment group,3 cases were cured,22 cases were markedly improved,9 cases were effective,4 cases were invalid, the total cure rate was 89.47%; in control group,1 case was cured,10 cases were significantly improved,14 cases were effective,14 cases ineffective, the total cure rate was 64.10%, the total cure rate of treatment group was obviously higher than that of control group (P<0.01). "Wuzi Erxian" decoction did not have obvious side effects and adverse reactions.Conclusion:"Wuzi Erxian" decoction can effectively improve the sperm concentration, sperm motility (A grade sperm percentage, A+B grade sperm percentage) of oligoasthenozoospermia patients. And it also can significantly improve the fertility of them. Then it does not have side effects, and can use for a long time, so it is worth further researching and promoting in clinic.
