Sun Simiao was a famous medical expert in the Tang Dynasty in China.He is the milestone in traditional Chinese medicine culture and a shinning pearl in the history of human civilization.Sun Simiao’s "daughter party" is known as China’s earliest existing medical encyclopedia; In the Tang Dynasty, he was called the "yao wang" by the people because of his superb medical skill;He was named as the acknowledgement of the model by the later generations,because of his excellent medical ethics and the noble personality.Objectives:Since the Tang Dynasty, Sun Simiao has been the people’s idol in my heart and he is also the goal of past dynasties doctor race to chase. In more than one thousand years, people never stop learning and research for Sun Simiao. Especially in recent years,it sets off a new wave of learning Sun Simiao culture in the academia,since the government put forward the slogan of inheriting and developing traditional Chinese medicine culture.Throughout the study of Sun Simiao,we found that the legend story is very rare.Even if it has,it is not comprehensive.Therefore,the article mainly combed the Sun Simiao’s legend story and discussed the cultural connotation and meaning.Methods:This article attempts to mainly through the literature and fieldwork is complementary.Comprehensively all factors,the article is based on those tales of Sun Simiao as the main line, life story, medicine culture thoughts as the instruction, historic sites, such as building for stronghold things, then will be a preliminary study of folk beliefs of Sun Simiao, so as to explore its have comprehensive social value.In order to define the scope of "Sun Simiao’s legend story",I will be using the methods of literature study, statistics,and reviewing the relevant literature analysis and statistics.I refer to its cultural value to carry specific to differentiate its properties,to determine the research object and the screening of various classification on behalf of the legend.I mining, sorting, concise, academic thought, historical value and cultural background to study the historical andrealistic significance.Results: First of all, it shows Sun Simiao legend research in the form of graduation papers.Secondly, this subject provides a new research idea for other physicians,from the folk stories.In a certain extent, it can make up for the lack of some acknowledgement of literature and promote the development of Chinese culture of traditional Chinese medicine.It also can promote the spread of Chinese traditional culture,improve the national soft power and strengthen the national influence.Conclusions: As a result, the sorting and studying of Sun Simiao’s legendary story is not only beneficial to the excavation and protection of traditional Chinese medicine, also it has an important meaning to the transmission and development of the Chinese traditional culture, catering to country’s appeal. Sun Simiao’s legendary story have rich contents, various forms, including medicine, medical ethics, cultural beliefs and folk customs and so on, have massive historical value and unlimited potential economic value. How to develop and use it, and transform its potential value into real value is worth our further discussion.At present,Sun Simiao’s legendary story have been listed as shaanxi province non-material cultural heritage preservation, related units and the government has also developed a series of measures to protect and spread. This provides a great convenience for writing smoothly of this paper. Since the party’s "18", the party and state from the perspective of strategy and ambitious, pay more attention to traditional Chinese excellent culture heritage, development and spread.Therefore, this topic research, not only has important significance for the study of Sun Simiao and Sun Simiao culture, but also has an important role in China for the study of traditional Chinese medicine culture. It also can promote the development and utilization and protection of Chinese traditional culture.
