Objective:the purpose of this paper is to analyze characteristics of executive dysfunction in patients with stroke in basal ganglia and the characteristics of facial emotions cognitive impairment, while detect the event related potential P300,analysis the correlation of P300 and excutive function in patients with stroke in basal ganglia,as well as analysis the correlation of P300 and facial emotion cognitive function. Methods:Choose 60 cases of hospitalized patients from the department of neurology in the affiliated hospital of Luzhou Medical College, divided into two groups:30 cases of stroke in basal ganglia group and 30 cases of normal control group. The control group consisted of 30 hospitalized patients in the same period, matched with the gender, age and education level. The basal ganglia stroke group and control group need to complete the following test and tasks:1.For the research object, using MMSE to complete the overall cognitive function assessment.2.executive function assessment:TMT,CDT,DS,Stroop test, "2-back task";3.face emotional cognitive function test;4.analysis the event related potential;5.executive function, facial emotional cognitive function and event related potential for correlation analysis. Results:1.Overall cognitive function comparision:there was no statistically significant difference in MMSE scores between the basal ganglia stroke group and control group(P>0.05).2.executive function assessment:2.1 Clock drawing test:assessment action planning and anti-interference ability. Basal ganglia stroke group get less CDT scores than the control group, difference has statistical significance(P<0.01).2.2 Digital memory span test:test the working memory function of executive function.Test results showed that basal ganglia stroke patients compared with control group, the score was significantly reduced(P<0.01).2.3 Trail Making Test:often used in the evaluation of executive function in task switching capacity, basal ganglia stroke group compared to the control group,TMT-A and TMT-B expend more time, statistically significant difference(P<0.01),TMT interference quantity increased significantly(P<0.01).2.4 2-back task:is a classic paradigm of evaluating working memory.Basal ganglia stroke patients 2-back error rate than the control group significantly increased(P<0.01).2.5 Stroop test:used in the evaluation of executive function in response inhibition.Compared to the control group, basal ganglia stroke patients reaction time extented under the conflict condition and the neutral condition, and reaction time disturbance variable increased significantly, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01);the error rate were increased under conflict and neutral conditions(P<0.01),and the error rate disturbance variable significantly increased(P<0.01).2.6 Left basal ganglia stroke group compared with right basal ganglia stroke group, there was no statistically significant difference in TMT,2-back task, stroop test(P>0.05). 3.Facial emotional cognitive function assessment:Basal ganglia stroke group get less facial emotional cognitive scores than the control group, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.01).Respectively to compare joy, surprise, fear, grief, disgust, angry and neutral seven emotions scores showed that basal ganglia stroke group facial sentiment "disgust" score and "surprise" score are lower than the control group, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).And further analysis, basal ganglia stroke patients facial mood "disgust" disorder is more apparent than "surprise".4.Event related potential P300 changes: P300 latency period of basal ganglia stroke group was significantly longer(P<0.01), amplitude was decreased significantly(P<0.01). 5.Neuropsychological tests and ERP correlation analysis:Facial emotional cognitive scores and connection test interference quantity,2-back task error rates, stroop test interference quantity has good correlation;facial emotional cognitive testing and P300 has good correlation;DS,TMT,2-back task error rate, stroop test and P300 also has good correlation.Conclusion:1.The patients of basal ganglia stroke group exist executive function damage, and executive function’s three core components are damaged, including response inhibition, working memory and task switching.Left and right of executive function in patients with stroke in basal ganglia damage no difference.2.There is facial emotional cognitive impairment in patients with stroke in basal ganglia, mainly for "disgust" facial emotional cognitive impairment.3.Facial emotional cognitive function and TMT,2-back task, stroop test has good correlation, showed that facial emotional cognitive function is associated with executive functions. 4.P300 and executive function and face emotional cognitive score has good correlation, can be used as testing executive function and recognize emotions electrophysiological indicator of cognitive impairment.
