Objective: To study different factors on the visual analog pain scale score method and the result of the numerical rating scale’s overall identity, so as to provide evidence and reference for the selection of pain assessment method in clinical work. Methods: This paper studied the patients in Xingtai people’s hospital ache branch, oncology, orthopedic, thoracic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology outpatient and hospitalized patients with pain symptoms from August 2014 to January 2015 by using assessment questionnaire investigation, a total of 400 copies, 348 effective questionnaire copies were recycled. Questionnaire is constituted by general information questionnaire and two methods of pain assessment questionnaire forms. Adopting the method of double blind, namely the experimenter and patients did not know the purpose of the survey. Experiment designers did unified training to perpetrators in order to make sure that the experiment carries out accurate expression of the questionnaire in unified languages and patients in the experimental accurately represent all contents under the objective to complete the questionnaire. Finished data was collected and was analyzed by using SPSS19.0 data. Results: Multiple factors on the pain visual analog score method and the numerical rating scale method include the age.Experimental results show that in the same age(P<0.05), gender(P< 0.05), place of residence, personality types(P<0.01), degree of culture(P< 0.01), the history of any pain(P<0.05), and the understanding of the situation of pain assessment(P<0.01), and other factors under the visual analog pain scale score method and numerical rating scale method of overall, the results of the same rate have significant differenceThe results show that different gender on visual analog score method and the numerical rating scale method resulted in overall the same level was statistically significant(P>0.05). Female patients in the two methods of pain assessment result in the same rate higher than male patients.Patients of different ages show the results of the same rate are significantly different according to the statistical analysis(P<0.01). And when compared two patients in three groups of age, we found that the probability of the same results of people with older age from the two evaluation methods is low, the same rate of pain assessment result of 18 to 35 patients and 36-60 years old group has no significant difference.Patients with different culture degree use visual analog scale score method and the numerical rating scale method at the unified time show significantly different results.(P<0.01).The higher the patient’s cultural degree, the higher the rate of the same in the two methods. The results of residents in different districts from the two methods of pain assessment methods are significantly different(P<0.05). The overall rate of the same from rural patients is lower than the same patients from cities, and the results of the overall rate of the same of patients from cities and towns have no significant difference.Different personality and psychological factors from the visual analog scale score method and the numerical rating scale method show significant different influence(P<0.01), overall, the result of the same rate order from high to low: introverted stable, stable, outgoing, extrovert instable, introversion instable. The results of the same rate of patients with different financial situation from the visual analog scale score evaluation method and the numerical rating scale method have statistically significance(P<0.05). With the improvement of monthly income, the result of the same rate from the two methods of pain assessment goes up.The results of the same rate of patients with different medical payment from the visual analog scale score method and numerical rating scale method have significant difference(P<0.05). Overall, the result of the same rate from the two evaluation methods in patients who use town health insurance payment is higher than the patients who use the new farmer health insurance payment. When evaluating the results of the patients who have a history of pain ever from visual analog scale score method and the numerical rating scale method, we find that the results of the same rate have significant meaning according to the statistical analysis(P<0.05). The results show that patients who have a history of pain show higher rate of the same than the patients who have no history of pain according to the two evaluation methods.Whether patients have formal understanding of the pain assessment on the visual analog scale score method and the numerical rating scale method show significantly different results in terms of the overall rate of the same(P < 0.01). The patients who have an understanding of the pain assessment show higher percentage of the overall rate of the same than the patients who have no understanding of the pain assessment according to the two methods of pain assessment.Conclusions:1 A variety of factors including gender, age, level of education, place of residence, character classification, monthly income, history of pain, medical expense payment, always influence the overall rate of the same from the visual analog scale score method and the result of the numerical rating scale. Especially the understanding of culture level, personality psychology and the knowledge degree of pain influence the results remarkably.2 Pay attention to personality psychological factors that influence the pain assessment, and the relationship between the psychological behavior and pain assessment and treatment. Avoid using suggestive languages in pain assessment work.3 Pay attention to the propaganda work of pain assessment, and make patients get more comprehensive understanding of pain assessment method, purpose and significance, so the patients can cooperate with the medical staff better in clinical treatment.
