| Depression is a kind of affective disorder were the main clinical features of the significant and persistent low mood, activity decrease, slow thinking and cognitive function; Anxiety disorder is a mainly to anxiety neurosis, a widespread and persistent anxiety or panic attack repeatedly disturbed as the main features. Both of them belongs to traditional medicine psychological disease category, if we divide three types of them, the exogenous diseases, internal causes and injury by the knife wound, which are the internal causes of disease. So far, the modern medical science about the etiology and pathogenesis is still not a unified understanding. The main points of them are genetic factors, neural and biochemical changes in psychosocial factors, and diagnosis can be divided into standard, serious symptoms, course standard criteria and exclusion criteria. After diagnosing, can be treated with modern medicine therapy, traditional Chinese herbal treatment, and modern medicine and traditional Chinese herbal treatment combined treatment. We can still use acupuncture, massage, psychological therapy, music therapy and other assisted therapy, clinical treatment with the combination of various methods.Without normal operation of the viscera Qi, nobody can live. The living of human beings are full of the Qi operation. The normal operation of the human viscera Qi, ensures the normal operation of the physiological activities of their self. In the theory of traditional Chinese Medicine, we think the main pathogenesis of Depression is yin deficiency of Liver and Kidney systems, essence deficiency of Kidney system, insufficiency of Heart and Spleen systems, supplemented with stagnation of the Qi operation of Liver system, phlegm, blood stasis. We think the main pathogenesis of Anxiety disorder which is often worsened because of loss of viscera, function disorder, heat, phlegm and blood stasis is stagnation of Liver system and deficiency of Spleen system, insufficiency of Heart and Spleen systems, yin deficiency of Liver and Kidney systems. People usually treat emotional diseases in the Liver system In traditional view idea, but the Qi operation contradictions of the Spleen system and Stomach system should be priority among priorities. Through reading and abroad about the diseases hundreds of pieces of literature in recent years, I arrange Depression and Anxiety disorder in the pathogenesis, clinical classification and treatment based on syndrome differentiation and other treatment finishing. For understanding and confirmed by traditional Chinese herbs of insect with Spleen system channel tropism, important for the treatment of depression and anxiety, I analyzed the herbs meridian relates to the Spleen and Stomach systems the occurrences, classification, four properties and five tastes, and Depression and Anxiety disorder etiology and pathogenesis in 215 pieces of literature, collect the efficiency of more than 75% in the literature, pure traditional Chinese medicine therapy.According to the statistics of the literature of all herbs, herbs to treat Depression relates to the spleen and stomach systems meridian in 86 flavors, total herbs appear proportion is 58.90%, the total number of times is 929 times, total herbs occurrences ratio was 57.81%; herbs in the treatment of Anxiety disorder of Spleen and Stomach systems meridian involved 62 flavor, total herbs appear proportion is 55.86%, the total 449 times, accounted for the total proportion of 55.43% herbs appeared.
