| Objective:Describe the current condition of fluid intake compliance in maintenance hemodialysis patients and explore its influencing factors.Describe the current condition of hemodialysis knowledge, hope, social support in maintenance hemodialysis patients and explore the relativity between these factors with fluid intake compliance. So as to provide reference for clinical nursing and nursing research, and then continue to improve the fluid intake compliance in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods:Random sampling was used to recruit 149 maintenance hemodialysis patients from December 2013 to May 2014.The patients were hospitalized in Hunan Province People’s Hospital and 163 Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Research instruments include Dinterdialysis Weight Gain Relative Value,General Information Questionnaire, Hemodialysis Knowledge Questionnaire, Herth Hope Scale, Social Support Rating Scale.Statistic analysis was performed with SPSS20.0 of Chinese version.Statistic methods included descriptive statistics,Mann-Whitney U test,Kruskal-Wallis H test, Spearman correlation analysis and Logistic regression analysis.Results:1.The current condition of fluid intake compliance in maintenance hemodialysis patients was not ideal,43.6% of the maintenance hemodialysis patients couldn’t adhere to restriction.2.Univariate analysis showed that the fluid intake compliance among patients with different ages, main caregivers, knowledge of high moisture food, control of high moisture food intake, years of hemodialysis, hope level was different. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).3.The average score of hemodialysis knowledge was 12.91±4.863.The average score of hope was 32.66±2.893.The average score of social support was 31.91±7.247.Spearman correlation analysis showed that the fluid intake compliance in maintenance hemodialysis patients was positive related to their hope.4.Logistic regression model analysis showed that age, main caregivers, control of high moisture food intake, years of hemodialysis, hope level were included in the regression equation in which the dependent variable was fluid intake compliance(χ2=-1.821,P<0.01).These 5 factors could explain 54.1% of all the variation and its regression coefficient were 0.779ã€-0.430ã€-2.228ã€-1.240ã€2.284.Conclusion:1.The average value of the daily interdialytic weight gain relative value was 4.926±1.6986.Of the total,43.6% maintenance hemodialysis patients present poor compliance.2.The fluid intake compliance in maintenance hemodialysis patients was positive related to their hope.3.Logistic regression model analysis showed that age, main caregivers, control of high moisture food intake, years of hemodialysis, hope level were main factors influencing fluid intake compliance. In these five factors, age, control of high moisture food intake and years of hemodialysis were protective factors. The main caregivers and hope level were dangerous factors. |
