The Prospective Clinical Observation On The Efficacy Of Acute Dental Pain By Electro Acupuncture And The Study On CGRP Plasma Influence

Objective:This observation is to investigate the clinical therapeutic effect on the treatment of dentinal hypersensitivity, acute pulpitis, and the influence in CGRP plasma by electro-acupuncture on Hegu(LI-4) point, Xiaguan(ST-7) point and Jiache(ST-6) point.Methods:All the patients of this subject comes from the dental clinic of No.1 hospital affiliated to Heilongjiang university of Traditional Chinese Medicine.20 cases of dentinal hypersensitivity and 20 cases of acute pulpitis were collected from 2013 September to 2015 February. Patients meeting the inluding criteria were randomly allocated to two groups:One is treatment group(electro-acupuncture combing with conventional dental therapeutics), the other is control group (conventional dental therapeutics). The treatment group acupunctured LI4(affected side), Xiaguan point(affected side), Jiache point(affected side) before the conventional treatment. Applying the negative electrode of electro-acupuncture device connects bilateral LI4, the positive one with wet gauze wrapped fixing on the nearby skin as indifferent electrode 10 minutes and then combining conventional dental therapeutics treatment; The control group use conventional dental therapeutics treatment. Applying the internationally recognized, objective curative evaluation criteria, such as observing the behavior of patients with pain score(BRS6), Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), Numerical Rating Scal (NRS), Houpt treatment process compliance assessment scale and the compression of overall treatment effect. When all the patients group into the observation one and end the treatment, taking the median cubital vein blood 5ml immediately. Normal control group take the median cubital vein blood 5ml. Applying ELISA Kit to test thecontent of plasma CGRP and comparison.Results:1.It gets significance comparing the BRS6 to the treatment group and control group before and after electro-acupuncture in the all treatment (P<0.05). It gets no statistical significance comparing the average score to all the treatment group and control group (P>0.05). It gets significance comparing the BRS6 to the treatment group before electro-acupuncture and dental treatment of two kinds disease (P<0.05). There is no significance comparing the BRS6 to the control group and before the dental treatment(P>0.05). It gets significance comparing the BRS6 to the treatment group and the control group before dental treatment of two kinds disease (P<0.05).2.It gets significance comparing the VAS score to the electro-acupuncture and dental therpy before treatment in the treatment group of two kinds of disease (P<0.05).There is no significance comparing the VAS score to the control group analyzed before and the dental therpy before treatment(P>0.05),It gets significance comparing the VAS score to the treatment group and the control group before treatment of two kinds disease(P<0.05).3.It gets significance comparing the NRS score to the electro-acupuncture and dental therpy before treatment in the treatment group of the two kinds of disease(P<0.05). There is no significance comparing the NRS score to the control group analyzed before and the dental therpy before treatment(P>0.05). It gets significance comparing the NRS score to the treatment group and the control group before treatment of two kinds disease (P<0.05). It gets significance comparing the NRS score to second minutes and fourth minutes, sixth minutes and eighth minutes of the treatment group in the process of acute pulpitis pulp therpy (P<0.05) and gets no significance comparing the other time point (P>0.05). It gets significance comparing the NRS score to fourth minutes and sixth minutes after electroacupuncture treatment in the process of cleansing (P<0.05) and gets no significance comparing the other time point (P>0.05).4.It gets significance comparing the Houpt treatment compliance evaluation scale to the treatment group and the control group after being treated of two kinds disease(P<0.05).5.It gets significant differernce in testing the content of plasma CGRP before and after electro-acupuncture therpy in the treatment group of two kinds disease (P<0.05). It is significant in testing the content of plasma CGRP comparing the observation group analyzed before to the control group of two kinds disease (P>0.05). And there is significant differernce in testing the content of plasma CGRP comparing electro-acupuncture treatment in the observation group to the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Electro-acupuncture can relieve the pain caused by dentinal hypersensitivity and acute pulpitis.2.Electro-acupuncture can ease toothache and tooth sensitivity by reducing pain patients’CGRP content in the plasma of dentinal hypersensitivity, acute pulpitis and opening pulp chamber therapy.3.Electro-acupuncture can improve the treatment compliance of dentinal hypersensitivity, acute pulpitis and opening pulp chamber therapy...
