Clinical Observation On The Analgesic Effict Of Electro Acupuncture Combined With Emotional Area Acupuncture On Dentine Hypersensitivity

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of electro-acupuncture combined with emotional area acupuncture on dentition hypersensitivity pain,to provide new ideas and methods for the clinical application of oral analgesia.Methods:This study from March 2016 to August 2016,collected from the dental clinic of No.1 hospital affiliated to Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Are in line with the inclusion criteria.Study included 80 cases of patients are randomly assigned into treatment groups(electro-acupuncture.emotional area acupuncture combined with conventional dental therapeutice)and control group(conventional dental therapeutice),40 cases each treatment group.The treatment group(taking different acupoints for treatment)and the control group then randomly assigned into upper teeth pain and lower teeth pain in 20 patients.The treatment group of patients with upper teeth pain acupunctured Taixi point(on both sides).Neiting point(on both sides)and head emotional area.Patients with lower teeth pain acupunctured Taixi point(on both sides).Hegu point(on both sides)and head emotional area.Applying one end of electro-acupuncture device(the electrical stimulation equipment,regardless of positive and negative)connects bilateral Taixi points Neiting point and Hegu point,the other one with wet gauze wrapped fixing on the nearby skin as a path electrode.Wave to take the dense wave,the patient can tolerate the strength of the limit,keep the needle 30min;emotional area to take the way to twist 2-3 minutes then keep the needle.Applying the internationally recognized,objective curative evaluation criteria,such as Visual Analogue Scale(VAS).Numerical Rating Scal(NRS).the behavior of patients with pain score(BRS6)and Houpt treatment process compliance assessment scale to compare the theraoeutic effect.Results:1.There is no statistical significance comparing the VAS score to the treatment group and the control group before all the treatment(p>0.05),the two groups are comparable.It gets significance comparing the VAS score to the treatment group and the control group after the completion of all treatment(p<0.05);both scores were lower and the treatment group was more pronounced.2.There is no statistical significance comparing the NRS score to the treatment group and the control group before all the treatment(p>0.05),the two groups are comparable.It gets significance comparing the NRS score to the treatment group and the control group after the completion of all treatment(p<0.05);both scores were lower and the treatment group was more pronounced.3.There is no statistical significance comparing the BRS6 score to the treatment group and the control group before all the treatment(p>0.05),the two groups are comparable.It gets significance comparing the BRS6 score to the treatment group and the control group after the completion of all treatment(p<0.05);both scores were lower and the treatment group was more pronounced.4.It gets significance comparing the Houpt treatment complicance evaluation scale to the treatment group and the control group after all treatment is completed(p<0.05);both scores were lower and the treatment group was more pronounced.Conclusion:1.Electro-acupuncture combined with acupuncture in the emotional area can reduce the pain caused by dentin hypersensitivity.2.Electro-acupuncture combined with acupuncture in the emotional area can improve the compliance of dentin hypersensitivity during cleaning teeth.
