Objective:To understand the dietary nutritional status of pregnant women with Hui, Kazak, Uygur and Han ethnic groups in Changji, set up the mode of the pregnant women of all ethnic groups, compare the dietary structure, put forward the reasonable countermeasures, guide the maternal and child health care. Methods:Using the method of stratified cluster sampling randomly selected 1508 late pregnant women in Changji.1. Face-to-face questionnaire to investigate the basic situation of the investigation object.2. 24 hour dietary recall method of diet survey, calculate daily food intake survey object and nutrients, and the results and our daily dietary reference intakes (DRIs) are compared and analyzed.3.Using SPSS17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis of data. Results:1 Basic conditions:1508 pregnant women meet the conditions, on which the Hui,437 (28.98%),312 (20.68%) of Kazak, Uygur 187 (12.40%), Han 512 (37.94%); age range 20 to 35 years old, the average age of (25.12±2.80),25-29 years old accounted the most, the cultural degree to; junior middle school accounted for the most; the family per capita monthly income between 1000-2000 yuan at the most; body mass index (BMI) of 18.5-24 range of normal values for the most basic constituent ratio;comparison of Hui, kazak, Uygur, Han pregnant women (age, educational level, the per capita monthly family income, pre pregnancy BMI), the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2 The dietary and nutritional status:pregnant women diet composition is unreasonable and differences exist among four nations(P<0.05); three heat nutrients intake is reasonable and differences exist among four nations(P<0.05); in pregnant women dietary, copper, sodium, phosphorus, vitamin E, niacin intake exceed the standard; dietary fiber, calcium intake is insufficient; iodine, vitamin D, vitamin B6, folic acid intake are serious shortage. All other nutrients were up to the standard. There were differences am-ong four ethnic groups pregnant women in nutrients average intake except for carbohydrate, thiamine(P<0.05); The protein is mainly from the plant food, differences exist among four nations in animal protein and vegetable protein(P<0.05); The iron is mainly from the plant food, differences exist among four nations in animal iron and vegetable iron(P<0.05); Conclusion:The pregnant women have different national diet of the respective characteristics, significant difference. Dietary nutrition guidance should be carried on according to the different characteristics of diet, to improve the nutritional diet, promote maternal and fetal health.
