Objectives:Investigate the relationships between PSG derived apnea hypopnea index (AHI-psg) and age, BMI, neck circumference, waist circumference, Epworth Scale score, sleep score, pharynx minimun space and geniohyoid pitch. And evaluate the predictive value of OSAHS with the combination of these factors. Simultaneously,To evaluate the diagnostic effectiveness of portable monitor device (PMD) in risk OSAHS population with polysomnography (PSG). Compare the Apnea hypnea index(AHI) and Minimal Oxygen saturation(MinSaO2) tested by Potable monitor device and tested by polysomnography. Methods:Determin the inclusion criteria, asked to answer the Questionniar and underwent an anthropometric measurements. All patients were asked to complete the polysomnography (PSG) test and Portable monitor device (PMD) test simultaneously. The correlation between AHI-psg and age, BMI, neck circumference, waist circumference, ESS Score, sleep score and pharynx minimun space applied rank correlation; Inter-group comparison analysis using Nonparametric rank sum test, the compliance of PSG and PMD using signed rank test. Using ROC analysis to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of Portable monitors in diagnosis the risk OSAHS population and to evaluate the predictive value of the severity of OSAHS with the combined factors of, BMI, neck circumference, waist circumference, ESS score, sleep score and pharynx minimun space. Results:Portable monitor device(PMD) has a sensitivity and specificity of 96.9% and 86.7%, respectively (AUC=0.990,95%CI,0.97-1.000). A statistically significant correlation between AHI-psg and BMI, neck circumference, waist circumference,ESS Score, sleep score and pharynx minimun space was detected(P< 0.001), combined these factors, when the score=3, has a Satisfactory predictive value for moderate and severe OSAHS patients.Conclutions:Portable monitor device (PMD) has a satisfactory sensitivity and specificity for diagnose of moderate and severe OSAHS patients. BMI, neck circumference, waist circumference, ESS Score, sleep score and pharynx minimun space have good correlation with AHI-psg, combined these factors, when the score=3, has a satisfactory predictive value for moderate and severe OSAHS patients. Portable monitor device (PMD) has advantages of economical, easy, easy acceptance is expected to be widely used in screening OSAHS based in a simple interrogation and physical examinations.
