| Objective: To investigate the expression of frizzled-7 in renal cell carcinoma and the relationship between the frizzled-7 expression level and the clinicopathological characteristics.Methods: Collected 53 cases of surgical resection of renal cell carcinoma specimens as the experimental group, Use the method of immunohistochemical to detect the expression of protein levels in cc RCC tissues and peritumor tissues, and collected clinical data to analysis of the relationship.Result: 1. Frizzled-7 were found in 19(36%) of tumor specimens respectively, which was significantly higher than that in peritumor tissues(p=0.004). 2. The expression of frizzled-7 was no statistically significantly associated with gender, age, symptoms at presentation, tumor size(P>0.05), and there was no statistically significant correlation with 2002 Tumor,Node,Metastasis(TNM) stage grouping and distant metastases at nephrectomy(P>0.05).Conclusion: The result suggesting that the expressed of frizzled-7 in renal clear cell carcinoma tissues was significantly higher. It is important to investigate the expression of frizzled-7 in renal cell carcinoma and its function in cancer development and progression,and the frizzled-7 expression may become a new gene therapy strategy for advanced renal cell carcinoma. |
