| Objective: Using optical coherence tomography to observe the relationship between the change of macular retinal thickness in diabetic cataract phacoemulsification and foldable intraocular lens implantation and visual acuity. Methods: A retrospective analysis from 2013 November to 2014 June in Gaochun Nanjing City People’s Hospital Department of Ophthalmology accepted phacoemulsification and foldable intraocular lens implantation of simple age-related cataract patients(33 eyes), the patients with diabetic cataract(62 eyes), hospital out-patient healthy normal subjects(31 eyes), a total of 126 eyes. Divided into 3 groups: group A for patients with age-related cataract group, collected 33 cases(33 eyes); group B patients with type II diabetes cataract in 62 cases(62 eyes); group C subjects group for hospital outpatient health, a total of 31 cases(31 eyes). A, B group in the preoperative, postoperative 1 weeks, l months after operation and postoperative March were detected using OCT foveal retinal thickness, detected and recorded C group of macular fovea thickness, to explore the relationship between foveal retinal thickness and visual acuity after operation, the best corrected visual acuity of examination and observation results and the patients are analyzed by SPSS19.0 software.Results:1, each group of preoperative foveal retinal thickness were: group A: 153.2±10.14 m; group B: 155.8±17.38 m; group C154.47±13.33 m. There is no significant difference between groups(P>0.05). 2, A group, B group after 1 week of January, and postoperative thickness and macular fovea were compared to before March, P<0.01, the difference was statistically significant. 1 weeks after operation in B group, after January and March postoperative foveal retinal thickness and A group increased significantly, the comparison between the two groups of P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. Only in the 1 weeks after surgery in 3 cases with slit lamp and fundus examination showed 3, A group(9.09%) postoperative corneal edema, 4 cases(12.1%) anterior chamber flare. In 1 weeks after surgery and 15 cases of slit lamp fundus examination showed that B group postoperative corneal edema(24.2%), 19 cases(30.6%) anterior chamber flare; after January there were 2 cases(3.2%) of 3 cases of corneal edema, anterior chamber flare(4.4%). Therefore, the patients of the B group after corneal edema and anterior chamber flare incidence was higher than that in group A, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant.4, after the operation of group A in January March, when the thickness of macular visual acuity and no correlation(P>0.05). Group B after January, March when the thickness of macular visual acuity and negative correlation(P<0.05). Conclusion: 1,The high rate of incidence of macular edema after phacoemulsification in diabetic cataract, control operation situation, operation mode, operation, artificial crystal types associated and peri operation patients selected were related to blood glucose.2, compared with ordinary cataract, phacoemulsification for diabetic cataract macular edema occurred significantly more high, for the performance of each stage of macular fovea thickness increases obviously, postoperative macular edema disappeared time prolonged. 3, The negative logarithm of thickness and visual fovea macular center of each period in postoperative.4,the change of macular optical coherence tomography can quantify the observation of diabetic cataract before and after the operation, and has high resolution, good reproducibility, can provide important information for accurate diagnosis and clinical observation. |
