Objective:To discuss the application value of intraoperative contrast-enhanced ultrasonography technigue,in fields of deep brain low-grade gliomas surgery to instruct orientation,guide resection,verdict residual tumor etc.Method:Collect the medical records of 24 cases patients with low-grade gliomas who carry out conventional ultrasound angiography intaoperatively from August 2012 to October 2014 in The first Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical Universitry.The conventional intraoperative ultrasonography and contrast-enhanced ultrasonography are performed in succession,record the tumor site and tumor boundary etc in addition.Compare the differences of the two methods in detemine tumor localization and tumor border.After the tumor resection,then follow-up conventional intraoperative ultrasonography and contrast-enhanced ultrasonography again,the suspicious residual tumor is resected by surgically removing.Taking biopsy as the gold standard. Compare the differences of the two methods in determine tumor residue.ResultsrBoth of the methods can show focus and locate accurately,the tumor display rate is 100%,the intraoperative ultrasound contrast shows a better results than conventional intraoperative ultrasonography in low-grade gliomas border display,the difference is statistically singnificant.The sensitivity is 63.6%,specificity is 84.6%,the false positive rate is 15.4%,the false dismissal rate is 36.4%,the diagnostic coincidence rate was 75.0% of conventional intraoperative ultrasonography in determining residual tumor.The The sensitivity is 90.9%,specificity is 92.3%,the false positive rate is 7.7%,the false dismissal rate is 9.1%,the diagnositic coincidence rate was 91.7% of ultrasound contrast in determining residual tumor.Compare the consistent rate of conventional intraoperative ultrasonography and ultrasound contrast in determining residual tumor with pathlolgical examination,there is no significant difference between the two methods.But the sensitivity and specificity of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography exceed conventional intraoperative ultrasonography. Conclusions:Intraoperative contrast-enhanced ultrasono--graphy is noticeably clearer and more accurate in the operation of low-grade glioma when determine tumor residue.It also shows higher sensitivity and specificity in determine tumor residue after tumor resection,this method with higher application value can be applied both in guiding operation and improving removal rate.
