Objective:To study the center arterial systolic and brachial arterial pressure and pulse pressure change tendency along with the age,between the two groups of hypertensive patients, discuss the factors that may affect and mechanism; Study the correlation of two methods of measuring index and sensitivity. Methods:The hypertensive patients(n=1300, including male 672, female 628,and aged 54±24) were selected randomly.The central arterial pressure and brachial arterial pressure were examined respectively. The patients were divided into groups according to their ages and tends of the pressure and ages were analysed, discuss the factors that may affect and mechanism; The research of two methods of measuring indexes and sensitivity. Results:The brachial arterial pressure (bBP) and central arterial pressure (cBP) each index change trend is consistent with age, better consistency of DBP, central arterial pressure is brachial arterial pressure sensitive; Brachial artery systolic blood pressure (bSBP) is highter than the central artery systolic blood pressure (cSBP), differential value is [15.15+10.20] mmHg, (P< 0.01), brachial artery diastolic pressure (bDBP) is lower than the central artery diastolic pressure (cDBP), differential value is [1.68+1.68] mmHg, (P< 0.01), brachial pulse pressure (bPP) is greater than the center pulse pressure (cPP), differential value is [16.94+10.67] mmHg, (P< 0.01); CBP multiple stepwise regression analysis, the main factors influencing the bPP are age, heart rate, height. Conclusion:The brachial arteries and the center of each index change trend is consistent with age, generally on the rise, the DBP consistency is good, but it is different between two types of measuring the blood pressure, arterial pressure center is brachial arterial pressure sensitive; Center of arterial pressure and brachial arterial pressure have correlation with height, weight, heart rate, age.
